Body language can say a lot about a couple, and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's body language consistently shows how much they care about each other. Whether it's how they're nearly always in sync, or the way they make each other smile — or how often the Duke and Duchess of Sussex hold hands, it's clear that they're totally connected and absolutely smitten.
Since going public with their relationship in late 2017, they've been pretty much inseparable — even in public. While Kate Middleton and Prince William very rarely touch each other during public events, Meghan and Harry love themselves some PDA. Worldwide Debut
For their first official public appearance at the 2017 Invictus Games, Harry made it clear how he felt about Meghan. He was protective of her during the whole event, which is easily seen in this photo of them. He's holding her hand, her arm, and whispering in her ear. They may have just gone public with things, but their bond was already rock solid.
Showing Off Her Ring
We're sure that what Meghan wanted us to focus on in this picture was her stunning engagement ring, but we can't help but also focus on how cute their little hand hold is. It's almost like she wanted to draw attention to it by holding her ring right above their interlocked fingers.
Never Letting Go
When Harry and Meghan greeted some fans during a March 2018 outing, Harry refused to let go of Meghan's hand — not even when he leaned in close to speak to some of the people in the crowd. His bond with his wife is quite literally unbreakable, and we love how they show that off. No one can ever question their dedication to each other.
Wedding Connections
The royal couple wasn't allowed to kiss until the end of their wedding ceremony, but they didn't put all intimacy off the table. At several points throughout the day, they held hands as they committed their lives to one another. Once they were officially husband and wife, Harry escorted Meghan out of the church by holding her hand high for all to see. It was cute, like he was proudly showing her off. Becoming One
Harry and Meghan were like a real-life Simba and Nala love story on The Lion King red carpet. When they held hands, they overlapped their arms and leaned into one another, basically becoming one person. People will say what they want about the duo, but there is no denying that they absolutely love one another.
Long Walks on the Beach
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex kicked off their shoes for a beach stroll while on a tour of Sydney, Australia. It was a whole scandalous thing that Meghan broke protocol and took her shoes off, but who cares? They were on a beach being cute and holding hands! That's the only news story we care about.
Hiding Meghan's Pregnancy
Although they hadn't yet announced it yet, Meghan was already pregnant with Archie when this photo was taken. Harry was likely feeling extra protective of his wife when they were out and about, so his firm grasp on her hand makes sense. Also, by showing some PDA, maybe the press would focus on that instead of Meghan's growing bump.

It's no surprise that the hand-holding didn't die down after Meghan and Harry went public with their pregnancy news. When they landed at an airport in Australia, shortly after the news went live, the royal couple beamed as they held hands. They had a lot to be happy about in the moment.

It was her (probably subconscious) way of checking in on Archie like Harry was with her. When the Sussexes hold hands, it's not always a firm grip. Here, Meghan Markle has her hand resting lightly in Harry's as they leave an event in Ireland. Perhaps this was signaling that they both felt a little more comfortable in the moment. The more people and press that are around, the tighter Harry's grasp can get.

Good thing they only need one hand for waving, because their other hands were a little busy! The couple treated some fans in Wales to a royal wave from not one, but both of them — but they acknowledged the crowd while also hanging tightly on to each other. It shows that no matter where their minds may be during events, they're always rooted in their love.

Sometimes, it's just not enough for Meghan to have one hand interlaced with Harry's. On this occasion, she wanted both of her hands touching his for some extra strength and reassurance. It was shortly after she announced her pregnancy, so maybe she was just feeling a little under the weather.

At Royal Ascot in 2018, Harry was right there to help Meghan out of her carriage with a gentle hand to hold. The whole moment is made that much better by how elegantly everyone is dressed. Harry is really a true gentleman in his top hat and tails. It's like a modern day fairy tale.

This sort of intimacy is rarely seen in public in other royal couples, even the modern ones — like Kate Middleton and Prince William — but Meghan and Harry don't mind PDA.

On this occasion, Prince Harry really needed both of his hands. He was about to throw out the first pitch during a New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox game. Typically that requires full body movement, but Harry wasn't letting go of Meghan's hand. She means more to him than proper baseball form, of course.
