Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Are Reportedly ‘Living More Separate Lives’

For the majority of the time since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle struck out on their own and left their lives as senior royals behind in 2020, the couple has done pretty much everything together when it comes to their work. But now, it seems that everything is changing. One expert claims that Harry and Meghan are now intentional about “living more separate lives” as Harry figures out what he wants his future to look like, but how will that affect their relationship?

Earlier this week, Harry made a solo appearance.

On Monday, Prince Harry attended the 14th Concordia Annual Summit in New York in honor of the Diana Award — a foundation in Princess Diana’s honor that celebrates the achievements of young people who are working to make the world a better place. But surprisingly enough, Meghan wasn’t with him, even though it would have been a pretty easy trip for her to make.

Lately, Harry has been taking on a lot of appearances without Meghan.

As The Sun pointed out, that includes a charity event in California last weekend, along with more events in New York this week that Meghan is not scheduled to attend. Harry will also be appearing at the WellChild Awards in London next week — another gig he took on without his wife.

So why isn’t he bringing Meghan with him to all of these events? Apparently, it’s not just because her own schedule is packed.

A royal expert claims that Harry's solo events are planned very intentionally.

According to what expert Phil Dampier told The Sun, it’s “significant” that Harry is striking out on his own.

“They are living more separate lives as it looks like Harry is trying to carve out what exactly his future is,” he explained.

He has reportedly been feeling more of a 'spare' than usual.

“I suspect Harry has been feeling very much like a spare part,” Phil added. “He wants more fulfilling roles for himself so we may well be seeing more of him here.”

It’s hard to blame him for wanting to carve his own path, especially after he’s been so transparent about feeling like he grew up in Prince William’s shadow.

Meghan doesn't seem to have anything to do with the way Harry's feeling, though.

Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on what side of the royal feud you happen to be on), it doesn’t seem as if there’s trouble in paradise — just that Harry wants to be known for his own accomplishments without always being attached to his wife (or his royal family).

It’ll certainly be interesting to see what he does next.
