Prince William Caught on Camera Saying ‘Chop Chop’ to Chatty Kate at Royal Wedding

Every couple consists of one person who likes to talk up a storm and another person who would rather be anywhere else — and it seems Prince William and Kate Middleton are no exception. While attending the Prince of Jordan's wedding on Thursday, William was hilariously caught on film trying to subtly tell his talkative wife to wrap it up, STAT.

The Prince and Princess of Wales made a surprise trip to Jordan for the event.

The royals flew in to attend the nuptials of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Saudi architect Rajwa Alseif. Photos from the event show the royals having the time of their lives, frequently grinning at one another and other guests as they celebrated the happy couple.

Kate couldn't wait to congratulate the new bride.

The wedding featured a receiving line, which William and Kate quickly hopped into in order to share their well wishes with the newlyweds. Kate was seen merrily chatting away with Rajwa after the ceremony while an ever-growing line of guests waited behind her. It seemed like William noticed the backlog and tried to gently nudge his chatty wife along.

The relatable moment was caught on video.

William tried to get Kate to finish up her conversation so some of the other guests could have a chance to talk to the wedded couple before the reception began and was filmed telling Kate to wrap it up. He appeared to say the words, "chop chop."

Obviously, Kate didn't want to be rushed and finished what she was saying to Rajwa before joining her husband.

Another funny moment may also have been captured by photographers.

On Twitter, one royal watcher shared a series of snapshots of the Waleses that appeared to show them sharing an inside joke. "I want to know what Prince William said to Princess Catherine to make him snicker and her gasp," the user wrote.

We'd love to have been a fly on the wall during that conversation!

We have a hunch Kate was feeling sentimental about her own wedding day.

She and William only recently celebrated the 12th anniversary of their own big day. Given the fact that she and Rajwa both married into a royal family, Kate may have been keenly aware of what the new bride was going through during that moment and wanted to connect with her.

Congrats to the new Prince and Princess of Jordan. It looks like their wedding day was a huge success!
