With Kate Middleton taking a break from her royal duties while undergoing cancer treatment, it looks like Prince William is picking up some of the slack when it comes to their kids. This week, Will was spotted out at a soccer game with his eldest son, Prince George, happily on daddy duty. While there's no word on why Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis stayed home instead of joining their dad and big brother, it looks like this father and son duo had a great time on their outing.

Will and George attended the game on April 11.

As Page Six reported, Prince William and Prince George attended Aston Villa’s UEFA Europa Conference League 2023/24 quarter-final first leg match on April 11 in Birmingham. TNT's sports cameras even showed the father and son on camera enjoying their night out.
They both seemed into the game.
George and William can be seen on the broadcast of the game, chatting in the stands as they both watch the field with rapt attention. At one point, it looks like Will stops to explain part of the game to George. This must have been so much fun for them!
It's been a stressful time for the family.
Not only has King Charles been battling cancer, but in March, Kate revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer as well. After undergoing a planned abdominal surgery in January, cancer was found in postoperative tests, which means Kate is now undergoing "preventative chemotherapy."

We haven't seen much of the royal kids this year.
The soccer game is the first sighting of George since Kate opened up about her health crisis to the world. So far, Louis and Charlotte haven't been spotted out in public just yet, but when Kate shared her news, she did mention just how important it is to handle the situation with her children carefully.
"It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK. As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body, and spirits," she said in the video where she shared the news.
Fingers crossed we'll see the family together soon.

Though Kate had originally planned to return to royal duties after Easter, with her cancer diagnosis, she's taking a bit more time out of the public eye. Here's hoping that she's doing well and, soon enough, we'll be able to see her out and about with George, Charlotte, and Louis again.
