It’s official: Another royal baby is on the way. On Tuesday, Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, announced that they are expecting their second child together. The couple is already parents to their 3-year-old daughter, Sienna Elizabeth, along with Edo’s son, Christopher Woolf (who goes by Wolfie) whom he welcomed in a previous relationship.

The royal family shared the news in a post on social media.
The post shared on the family’s official Instagram account included a photo of the future parents of two together, along with a picture of Edo, Sienna, and Wolfie on a walk, holding hands.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together early in the new year; a sibling for Wolfie and Sienna,” read the statement in the caption. “His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
Beatrice and Edoardo celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary over the summer.
Back in July, Edo marked the occasion by sharing a tribute to his wife on Instagram.
“Happy 4th wedding anniversary my love,” he wrote. “Every day is so special with you. I love you so much.”

Beatrice and Edo's first child arrived in 2021.
Though Beatrice and Edo grant their children as much privacy as they can — including online, where they avoid showing Sienna and Wolfie’s faces as much as possible — from time to time, Edo has shared peeks at his kids online.
When Sienna arrived in September 2021, he shared a photo of her footprints on Instagram, writing, “Feeling so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and Wolfie. These are the days I never want to forget. This week, a friend said to me the sweetest saying … that with every child you grow a whole new heart.”
This new little one will have plenty of cousins to play with.
And not just the ones who belong to Prince William and Prince Harry, either. Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie, has two sons of her own, and the youngest, Ernest, celebrated his first birthday in June, so he and Beatrice’s baby-to-be won’t be too far apart in age.

This is such an exciting time, and there’s no doubt that Beatrice’s mom, Sarah Ferguson, must be over the moon to be a grandma all over again.
