Meghan Markle has said that “jam is [her] jam,” and her 3-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet might be following in her footsteps. On Saturday, April 26, the Duchess of Sussex shared a sweet video via her Instagram Stories. In it, she asked Lilibet to share her thoughts on the As Ever strawberry preserve jam.
Princess Lilibet seems to be a fan.
In the cute video, Meghan prepared strawberry jam alongside her daughter Lilibet. “What do we think, Lili?” Meghan asked her daughter. Lilibet offered a simple yet thoughtful response: “I think it’s beautiful.”
Meghan and Prince Harry’s son, Prince Archie, 5, could also be heard in the video. The beginning of the clip showed a pond with fish in it. Archie could be heard saying, “Mama, watch this!”
Meghan also shared some photos of her kids.
With her Netflix show, lifestyle brand, and podcast, Meghan has seemed quite busy lately. But this past weekend, she enjoyed spending time with her kiddos. As always, her kids’ faces were obscured in the photos Meghan shared. In one photo, Meghan stood alongside her daughter Lilibet while picking a flower. The next photo showed Archie looking for a flower. Then, in the final photo, Archie held a flower in front of his face. “Sunday kind of love….with my little loves,” Meghan captioned the post.
Recently, Meghan said she’s super happy because of her family.
At the Time100 Summit in New York City, Meghan said, “I can very comfortably say that I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.” This is largely because of her family. Meghan said she’s incredibly grateful “to have a partner and a husband who is just so supportive, and to have healthy kids that are so joyful in the freeness of their life and the safety of their life that we create for them.”
She also made it clear that amid all of her recent business pursuits, her kids are her priority. “Archie is losing his first tooth, and I just hope I’m back in time for it,” Meghan said at the event. “That’s all that matters.”
Motherhood is her ‘favorite thing.’
On her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan said being a mom is her “favorite thing.” But motherhood also comes with a lot of pressure. “It is the thing where you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, I just need a break. I just need a minute,’” she said. “And the second you step into the other room, you go, ‘Oh, but let me scroll through pictures of them endlessly on my phone,’ and … my husband’s like, ‘My love, can you just give yourself a minute? Why don’t you go work out? Why don’t you go take a bath?'”
It sounds like Meghan’s experience of motherhood is pretty similar to a lot of other moms!
