Priyanka Chopra & ‘Outlander’ Hunk Sam Heughan Heat Things Up in New Rom-Com ‘Love Again’

It's a good time to be a romantic comedy fan, because another one is on the way — this time, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan. Set to hit theaters in May, Love Again has just about everything — grief, mystery, and even Céline Dion — and now, the first trailer for the upcoming movie is here.

The trailer appropriately dropped on Valentine's Day.

The film follows Mira Ray (Priyanka) as she navigates her grief over the death of her fiancé by texting his deactivated phone.

As luck would have it, his number has actually been reassigned to Rob Burns (Sam), who slowly begins to fall in love with the stranger sending messages to his cellphone.

The film seems to walk the line between comedy and drama.

Although we know that synopsis doesn't exactly scream comedy, it would appear that the supporting cast (which includes Priyanka's IRL husband, Nick Jonas for a hot second) helps bring levity to an otherwise sad and tragic situation.

Oh, and did we mention that the queen of the movie soundtrack, Céline Dion, makes an appearance?!

Céline plays herself and serves as a matchmaker for the pair.

As far as we can tell, she learns about Mira and Rob's story while Rob is interviewing her as part of a celebrity profile. He must've spilled the beans about the secret text messages, prompting Céline to get involved and intervene on Rob's behalf.

According to Glamour magazine, the singer also performs on the soundtrack.

This story had to hit home for the singer.

Céline may have had some own personal experience to draw on for this story, considering her husband René Angélil died in 2016 just days before his 74th birthday after a long battle with cancer.

It was a heartbreaking moment in Céline's life and one she's addressed every year on the anniversary of his death.

We're willing to bet that this movie will have us laughing and crying.

Given the steamy chemistry between the two leads and the obviously compelling backstory, this rom-com looks like it will be an emotional roller coaster (in the best way possible).

We can't wait until hit hits theaters May 12. You know we'll be in the audience with both our popcorn and our tissues!
