Everything We Know So Far About the Upcoming ‘Real Housewives’ Mashup Series

If you are anything like us, you've watched a little bit (OK, a lot) of the Real Housewives series — from New York City and New Jersey to Atlanta and Beverly Hills. And by now, you probably have a few favorite ladies to cheer on and a few you love to see get into it on-screen.

But imagine if some of the women from across the popular TV franchise were to meet up together — who would become fast friends and who would be easy enemies? Well, that dream scenario is now becoming a reality. In February, news hit that a first-of-its-kind Housewives crossover series is in the works at NBCUniversal's streaming service, Peacock. And then more details began to trickle out, including the fact that the women will embark on a vacation of a lifetime together to a tropical locale where the drama is bound to get as scorching as the sun.

As fans gear up to watch all of the friendship, feuds, and laughs unfold, we break down everything we know about this much-anticipated series. It definitely doesn't hurt that the cast is filming in a dream location and will probably be rocking some amazing outfits — we absolutely cannot wait to take it all in.

It's Official

As rumors continued to swirl, Peacock finally confirmed the mashup on April 26, revealing that housewives from New York, Atlanta, New Jersey, and Beverly Hills will be spending time together on the beachy island of Turks and Caicos. Filming kicked off in April after travel restrictions eased a bit, but because of the worldwide health crisis, some of the women who initially planned to appear could no longer do so.

The Cast on Deck

The women who will appear in the new all-stars series are all original castmates: Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore from Atlanta; Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer from New York; sisters-in-law Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice from New Jersey; and Kyle Richards from Beverly Hills. With this roster of OG stars on board, this show is bound to be good.

A Secret Trip

In late April, the housewives who'd been cast begin to drop some clues on social media that they were taking the show on location. Each took to Instagram to share a quick snap of themselves on a plane bound for parts unknown (Turks and Caicos, as we'd later learn). Thought the trip was meant to be a secret, these ladies couldn't help but tease their fans a bit.

Representing New Jersey

Melissa from RHONJ captioned a photo of her climbing up a set of jet stairs, "Nothing represents Jersey like," adding a leopard emoji in sly reference to her animal-print tank top. Later that weekend, she wrote, "You ready?!" while waiting at an airport.

Taking Flight

"Off we go!" Ramona wrote on April 26, alongside a smiling selfie taken on a jet. She followed this photo up with a snapshot of herself hopping on another plane, writing, "Heading to paradise!" and adding a palm tree and a cocktail emoji.

Jet Setters

That same weekend, her RHONY costar, Luann, shared her own airplane photos, excitedly posting, "Ready for take off?" This airplane ride must have been full of laughs with all of those ladies on it.

Sunshine Ahead

Kyle also shared a snap of herself at the airport, and Teresa posted a quick photo on her Instagram Story. Heading to Turks and Caicos must be so exciting — it's a good thing they're all documenting the experience, moment by moment.

The Photo Shoot

It did not take long for the ladies to go viral as an Instagram and TikTok video made the rounds, featuring all of the women in their cutest swimsuits as they showed off their toned bodies during what appeared to be a photo shoot. From the reactions they got from other housewives across the franchises, everyone's excited about this show!

Hot Bodies

Ramona and Luann were the first to share some sexy photo shoot recaps. Ramona was rocking a bright red one-piece with Lucite heels and a wide-brimmed hat to protect her age-defying skin. Luann, meanwhile, had the comments section buzzing with her skimpy, all-white bikini and gym-honed curves. She got props for her snap from a number of fellow housewives. Jill Zarin's daughter, Ally Shapiro, even popped in to write, "OMG THIS BODY!!!"

The Atlanta Wives

Next up, the Atlanta stars showed off their own amazing looks: Kenya in a cute white bikini and Cynthia in a black halter-style one-piece. Kyle also eventually shared a pose in a multicolored suit while the group was on a boat ride. Because, it's not a vacation without a trip on a yacht, letting the sun shine on you and your friends!

Keeping the Husbands Interested, Too

Lastly, Melissa wore the ultimate hot pink Versace bikini, earning her the sweetest comment from her husband. Joe Gorga wrote, "16 years later, and you still have my heart pumping." Oh my.

Not Everyone Was Invited

While these ladies were having the time of their lives, the other housewives were back home fielding text messages and emails wondering if they were making an appearance. Tamra Judge from Orange County confirmed that neither she or costar Vicki Gunvalson were asked to be included in the mashup series. She mentioned that she was getting messages asking if she was in Turks and Caicos, but it looks like these two OGs didn't make the guest list.

Drama From Day One

Apparently, the drama and fighting started on the first day that the ladies arrived (seriously, though, is this really a surprise to anyone?). Reporter Anthony Dominic tweeted, "I'm told Ramona instantly ran to get the best bedroom and has pissed off the other women. She has already called Kenya a b—-, and they haven't even been there for an hour." It's widely known that Ramona is the villain of the New York edition, but now she carries the title internationally.

Battling for the Best Room

Later, Dominic updated his Twitter message, adding that Ramona did not get the best room after all. (And we're definitely looking forward to seeing how that went down on camera.) After settling in, the women later met up for their first dinner together — and just like that, the season was off to a running start.

Wishing for This Day

Cynthia evidently has been waiting and hoping for an all-star cast opportunity like this. She once told Us Weekly (before the show actually came about), "I'm actually friends with a few of the other ladies, like Luann and Melissa. I love Teresa. I think Ramona would be really interesting to be in a house with because you know, she's just funny to me and she definitely brings her own share of drama. I guess she cracks me up." (Although after Ramona's attempts to hog the best room for herself, Cynthia may be singing quite a different tune by now.)

Coming Soon

So when will we finally get to see these episodes for ourselves? Unfortunately, no official premiere date has been announced yet. But with filming well underway, it's likely that we could see the mashup series hit the airwaves sometime this summer. In the meantime, we have new seasons of the existing shows airing now (or kicking off soon) to keep us entertained until our Turks and Caicos plane tickets arrive. (They're coming, right, Peacock?)
