But for a long time, we've been wondering if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge plan to go for baby No. 4, and lately, royal fans have been speculating about the possibility of another baby for the Cambridges more than ever.
If they never end up welcoming a fourth child, that's totally OK, because they already have three of the coolest royal kids ever. But plenty of evidence has been stacking up that they will probably choose to expand their family with at least one more kiddo, and if they do, there's no doubt that child will be so loved — and, since Kate is their mom, so well-dressed.

According to a British betting shop, Coral, taking a bet on Kate having a fourth baby is a pretty solid one to take, because the odds are in favor of her family getting just a little bit bigger. As one expert has said, it's "odds on" that Kate has baby No. 4 … it's just a matter of when. We should start placing our bets now…
Will & Kate May Announce a Pregnancy Before 2021
Speaking of odds … at the beginning of 2020, betting shop Ladbrokes shared its odds on Kate having a fourth baby, and according to the company, it's 8-11 that she and Will not only have No. 4, but that they announce that pregnancy before the end of 2020. If that's true, the world could end up welcoming another royal baby even sooner than we expected!
A Weird Response Kate Gave a Fan
During the 2019 St. Patrick's Day parade in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, someone asked Kate if she wanted another baby. Instead of shooting down the idea entirely, she responded, "Number four? I think William would be a little worried!" She wasn't saying yes, but she definitely wasn't saying no, and if baby No. 4 never does materialize, we know we have Will to blame!
Kate's Reaction to Seeing a Baby
During the same appearance, Kate said that she was feeling "broody," when she noticed someone holding a 5-month-old baby in the crowd … which definitely goes to show that she's still capable of getting baby fever! Reportedly, Kate is set on having four kids by the time she turns 40, and that milestone birthday is coming up in 2022 — so if she's planning on making that dream a reality, we'd assume that she's going to have to announce a pregnancy pretty soon. As a source told New Idea, Kate sees the bond that Charlotte and George have as the two older siblings, and she wants to have another baby so Louis can have the same kind of bond with a younger sibling. There have certainly been rumors that Prince William isn't interested in having more kids, but in the same report, an insider said that if Kate really wants a fourth baby, William will support her in that dream. "Kate is doing things her way but William has always supported her and will do anything to make her happy; that is a promise he made before they married. If she wants a fourth child he will go along with it, even though he complains about sleepless nights now!" the insider said.

While lockdown put a lot of stress on many couples, for these two, it seems to have been the opposite. James also said that their "mirroring traits" show that Will and Kate are now on the same page more than ever after spending so much time together. "The body language of Kate and William here suggests lock-down might have suited both their relationship as a couple and as a royal team as they appear more relaxed and in-tune than ever before," the body language expert added.
Kate's Had Babies on the Brain
As an insider told Us Weekly at the end of 2019, having another baby is something that Kate has been thinking about for a long time. In fact, the source said that Kate "would love to have one more child", so it wouldn't be surprising at all if growing their family was something Will and Kate were currently working on.

Recently, we found out that the organization Having Kids wrote an open letter to Kate, warning her not to have more than two children — because a larger family would be unsustainable, and would set a bad example. But she obviously ignored that advice, because Prince Louis is here today. Who knows, maybe she'd totally be down for a fourth.

Astrologers have told The Daily Mail that not only is Kate destined to have another baby, but that baby will end up cementing her place as an important mother in history (like she isn't already!). "If [Kate] falls pregnant again, this will be an important child and will change Kate's outlook where she establishes herself as the nation's ultimate mother," the astrologers said.
Prince Louis Is Getting Older
Having another baby may not be quite as appealing with one baby at home, but Louis himself is now solidly in kid territory. Having turned 2 years old, it seems like it would be the perfect time for Will and Kate to pull the trigger on baby No. 4. There would be a nice age gap between Louis and his little brother or sister.
There's No Time Like the Present
2020 has certainly been a roller-coaster, and it's hard to predict what the future will bring. That being said, there's no time like the present if Kate and Will want to expand their family — especially since they currently have more downtime with fewer royal engagements.
