The assumed music major is celebrating his life as a student by giving his Instagram followers a peek inside of his dorm room. We love how normal all of this is … despite who his parents are.
Deacon shared a behind-the-scenes look at college life with his 400,000 followers.
The 19-year-old posted a series of snaps Tuesday on Instagram, captioning the carousel "in flow."
The collection of photos seemed to show the typical activities you'd expect of a first-year college student, including some group shots, art house-style snaps, and, of course, a dorm room selfie.
The photo of his dorm even caught his dad's eye.
Ryan must've been low-key stalking his son's Instagram because he was quick to give Deacon a shoutout on the app, calling the second photo in the group "ill."
The shot captures Deacon's perfectly normal dorm room (note the bag of what looks to be bursting with laundry hanging from the bed frame) as the teen sits on his unmade bed.
Deacon is at college to study music.
The proud parents have been celebrating their son since his June 2022 high school graduation, both taking turns singing his praises and explaining how he was poised to begin an education in music.
That makes sense to us, given how much Deacon's dorm room selfie looks like the cover of a solo CD.
It doesn't look like his parents' wealth has given him a leg up at school.
Reese may have an estimated net worth of $400 million, according to the Daily Mail, but it doesn't look like she's using any of that money to set up her kids with sweet digs.
Both Deacon and his sister, Ava, appear to live on campus in regular dorms like the rest of their classmates. That has to make things interesting when their parents come to visit!
It seems as if Deacon's first semester of college has gotten off to a great start.
We're here for these totally normal celebrity kid moments and absolutely love how down to earth both Ava and Deacon seem. It's likely a sign that both Reese and Ryan worked really hard to keep their successes and fame from impacting their kids too much, something a lot of famous parents seem to struggle with. Kudos to them!
