Royal Family Has ‘Blackballed’ Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Because of ‘Major Trust Issues’

Just when it seemed like Prince Harry‘s relationship with the royals couldn’t get any worse, somehow, it did. After the Duke of Sussex shared personal details about his feud with his family during his bombshell BBC interview, a royal source has said that he and wife Meghan Markle might as well consider themselves “blackballed.”  Reportedly, as far as Harry’s family is concerned, there’s no coming back from this.

While talking to the BBC on May 2, Harry did not hold back when it came to where his relationship with father King Charles stands today. Not only did he say that Charles isn’t speaking to him, but he added that after his dad’s cancer diagnosis, he doesn’t “know how much longer my father has.”

If you guessed that the royals aren’t happy about this, you’d be right — according to what an insider told Page Six, it sounds like the interview was the last straw.

“I genuinely think nobody trusts him and that’s the bottom line,” the source said. “The royal family has major trust issues with him and that’s what’s at the heart of everything. They don’t trust him and Meghan and that’s why they can’t have a relationship.”

They added, “Maybe there’s room to forgive, but they won’t forget. Forgiveness and trust are two different things.”

Royal family friend Hugo Vickers also weighed in. He compared Harry to his late mother, Princess Diana … and not in a good way.

“One day, when I was at Buckingham Palace, I was shown the letter that Prince Phillip wrote to Diana in which he said, ‘Every time Charles talks to you, it’s in the Daily Mail the next day,” Hugo said. “The same thing is happening now. Charles is, of course, right not to trust him. Harry is hopeless in that respect.”

Hugo added that bringing up Charles’ health at all in the interview was “disgraceful.” He also thinks Harry should stop being a “whiny son” when his father has “the problems of the world on his shoulders.”

“Harry should be begging his father for forgiveness … and it should be done quietly, not on TV,” he said, adding, “he’s basically blown it.”
