It's been more than three years since Prince Harry walked away from royal life hand-in-hand with Meghan Markle, but now, it seems his family may be taking more steps to distance themselves from him. In a surprising turn of events, Harry's title has been removed from the royal family's website.

Prince Harry is no longer being referred to as 'His Royal Highness.'

Earlier this week, Express noticed that although Harry was referred to as "His Royal Highness" just days ago, now, those references to him have been replaced with different verbiage. Now, they're using "the Duke" and "the Duke of Sussex."
The news outlet, however, also noticed certain parts of the website were out of date following the death of Queen Elizabeth, so was this truly intentional?
The palace has publicly responded to the change.

"The Royal Family website contains over five thousand pages of information about the life and work of the Royal Family," noted a statement the palace issued to Express. "Following the death of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, content has been revisited and updated periodically. Some content may be out of date until this process is complete."
So according to the statement, it may just be an error. Hmm …
Sources say the royal family would never take Harry's title from him.
Royal expert Robert Jobson told the Daily Express that he spoke with someone close to the royal family to get his take on all of this, and that insider said Meghan and Harry being stripped of their titles is "just not going to happen."

The titles were a gift from Queen Elizabeth that the family would not want to take back.
"So even though they’ve got their royal titles and people demanded they get rid of them, they’re going to lose that. The reality is there’s no point, they say, in changing that," Jobson added. "It’s just going to rock everybody and create a story that will shake the Hornet’s Nest again. And as a result, it’s not going to achieve anything."
Harry and Meghan no longer use their HRH titles.

Though they do technically retain those titles, after stepping down from their posts as senior royals, they have agreed not to use them. More commonly, they're just known as Harry and Meghan in their new, non-royal lives.
It appears this is just an update to the royal website, with more to come, rather than a sign of more drama brewing in the family.
