Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest impacts on our lives. For Savannah Chrisley, it was the way her father Todd Chrisley used to send her special text messages at the end of each day. Savannah found herself reminiscing about those messages recently in honor of the Chrisley Knows Best star's birthday, grieving her father's absence as he begins his 12 year prison sentence.

Savannah made the sad comment during a recent birthday tribute.
The 25-year-old shared a post to her Instagram on Thursday in honor of her father's birthday.
"I miss you more than you'll ever know," she wrote in the caption that accompanied a family picture. "It's been 80 days … 80 days since I last received a 'goodnight my angel' text or an 'I love you more.'"
The post comes two months after Savannah's parents reported to prison.
Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of crimes related to a conspiracy to defraud banks out of more than $30 million. They were also hit for evading federal taxes on the earnings they made while filming Chrisley Knows Best, the reality series that made the family famous.
Todd was sentenced to 12 years while Julie received a lesser sentence of seven years behind bars.
Savannah remarked how much she missed her parents in her post.
The birthday post continued to talk about how hard the separation has been for everyone in the family, including Savannah's mother Julie. "My parents have also been together almost 30 years … and in that 30 years never have they ever spent a birthday apart," she wrote. "So today … I'm imagining us all together in one bear hug circle!"
The reality star got a lot of support from her followers.
People hopped in the comment section to wish Todd a happy birthday and offer up some encouragement to Savannah.
"Happy Birthday to your daddy," one person wrote. "Also sending prayers and hugs to your family. May God give you the strength to move forward every day and get through this."
"I'm sure it is not easy for you, Chloe, Nanny Faye, Chase and Grayson," another fan wrote. "Wishing you comfort now at this time. Still watching re-runs of the show. It cheers me up! Happy Birthday Todd!"

We're sure things have been hard for Savannah.
It's likely Savannah's post had more to do with missing her dad's wisdom than it did getting a goodnight text.
After all, her life has been completely turned upside down recently and she now has full physical and legal custody of her teenage brother Grayson and her 10-year-old niece Chloe, who was being raised by Todd and Julie before they were carted off to prison.
Hopefully, the pain of not having her parents around begins to subside as time goes on.
