Savannah Chrisley Shares First Look at Her Dad After Prison Release: ‘Todd Is Jacked’

Things have moved quickly for the Chrisley family after President Donald Trump officially pardoned Todd and Julie Chrisley for their convictions on tax evasion and bank fraud charges. Less than 48 hours after the news broke that the former Chrisley Knows Best stars would be free again, their children were on their way to pick them up, and now, their daughter Savannah is giving us a peek into her first moments with Todd.

Todd seems to be in good spirits, all things considered.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, Savannah shared a video that was taken in a dark car after she’d picked up Todd from the federal prison facility he’s been serving time at in Pensacola, Florida, since January 2023.

“We’re getting home. As I puke all the way,” she said, adding, “I’ve got Todd over here being dramatic.”

Todd’s voice can be heard in the background saying that he can smell Savannah’s vomit as he joked, “I didn’t have to deal with this in prison.”

Savannah joked that her dad is ‘jacked.’

In another Stories post, Savannah shows her dad’s body sitting in a seat in the car as she asks him, “What are you trying to get me to do?”

It’s then that Todd holds out his arm, telling Savannah to “feel that muscle.”

He then adds, “Todd is jacked!”

It’s good to see that after two and a half years behind bars, he hasn’t lost that sense of humor he’s always been known for.

It seems that Todd and his wife Julie have already reunited.

In a post that followed on Savannah’s Stories, we can see legs that belong to two different people who seem to be Todd and Julie, sitting across from each other.

Considering the fact that the couple hasn’t been able to see each other while they’ve been serving their sentences at separate facilities — and that Savannah has said that their communication with each other has been limited — there’s no doubt that this must have been an emotional reunion.

So far, Savannah has yet to show either of her parents’ faces in her social media posts.

Savannah hasn’t held back when it comes to all of the emotions involved.

In a video shared by Access Hollywood on YouTube, Savannah can be seen speaking to reporters outside of the prison where her dad had been serving time and becoming emotional in the process.

“I’m just so grateful that I’m gonna leave here with my dad,” she said, holding back tears. “My brother Grayson is there to pick up my mom, so he’s waiting.”
