Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco may have kept the details of their wedding very private, but now, the newlyweds are sharing photos from inside their big day on their own terms. On Tuesday, Selena posted a fresh batch of wedding photos on Instagram, giving fans a peek into their reception, including the couple’s adorable cake.
The couple tied the knot on Saturday.
Benny and Selena got married on September 27, surrounded by family and friends (including Selena’s BFF, Taylor Swift, who is currently planning a wedding of her own) in California.
Since then, Selena has slowly started sharing glimpses of their day after somehow managing to keep all of the details under wraps until she was ready to share them herself.
Now, Selena is sharing a peek inside her reception.
In an Instagram photo dump that Selena shared on Tuesday, she gave fans a look at several different moments from her wedding, including the dress she wore to her reception and her heart-shaped wedding cake, which is topped with vintage-style bride and groom figures.
The final photo in the carousel is in black and white, and shows the Selena and Benny in a sweet embrace while sitting on a couch, taking a minute for themselves during their reception.
She wore multiple wedding dresses that day.
The bride wore a gorgeous Ralph Lauren gown on her wedding day — along with others that made appearances in her Instagram post. As Page Six pointed out, the sheer lace halter dress included a detail that was a special nod to her relationship — a small heart with the initials B and S embroidered into the lace pattern. Too cute!
It sounds like Selena and Benny’s guests had a blast.
According to insiders close to Selena and Benny who were in attendance at their wedding and spoke with People, the reception was a total party. Mark Ronson was there as the DJ, and fans were treated by speeches from Taylor and Ed Sheeran, along with the newlyweds’ parents.
“There was so much love in the room,” one source said. “At the reception, everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night. The vibe was so much fun.”
