She didn't try to hide her disdain for the famous family.
"I have my own personal reasons for not liking the Kardashians, which I won’t get into," she said.
For the rest of her interview, she remained true to her word — she didn't share any of the juicy details about how they've wronged her that we would be interested in hearing — but she did talk about her ex.
All that matters is how the Kardashians treat her kids.
According to Shanna herself, all that matters is the kind of stepmom that Kourtney is to the three children she shares with Travis: Atiana, 24, Alabama, 17, and Landon, 19.
"As long as he’s happy [and] as long as they are good to my kids, that’s all I care about," she added.
She admitted that Travis is a different person these days.
"I haven’t been with him for well over a decade, but you know what — he’s not mine," she said. "He’s not the person that I was with anymore. He’s a completely different human being, so I don’t even really know him as a man right now. I don’t even know if we would be compatible or even good for one another anymore because he’s not the person that he was on Meet the Barkers."

Shanna has spoken out about the Kardashians before.
In fact, back in 2021 and closer to the beginning of Kourtney and Travis' relationship, Shanna told Us Weekly that she'd actually caught him cheating on her with Kim Kardashian when they were still married.
"We were working on our marriage and trying to heal through that affair, that infidelity, [but] he continued to [work with Kim]," she said. "And then I received all the text messages and the other third parties kind of let me know. It’s something I was well aware of."
Hopefully, this is a sign there is peace between the exes.
They may have both moved on, but they do share three children together, so maintaining a level of friendliness is probably what's best for everyone involved. Here's hoping that they'll all be able to keep things drama-free from now on.
