Rosa starts by thanking fans for their support.
On the podcast episode titled "Let's Be Clear…Continues," Rosa began by thanking fans for their outpour of love and support shown towards her daughter. "I want to thank you all for all the support, outpouring of love and support that you've given Shannen over the years," she said, adding that their family appreciates it very much.
She was joined on the podcast by Anne Marie Kortright, one of Shannen's closest friends.
Rosa says Shannen really loved the podcast.
"This podcast meant so much to Shannen because it allowed her to tell her story and tell her truth. Over the years there's been so many stories and untruths and things mixed up," the mother said, adding that Shannen ultimately wanted to give her fans a chance to hear directly from her. "I got to watch her do this when it was so special for her and needed. It helped her so much in everything that she was going through."

She says she and Shannen discussed her keeping the podcast going.
“I am going to be doing my best to try to continue this for her because that’s what we discussed she wanted me to do,” Rosa shared. “Of course, I’m not her. I could never be her. I’m not as well-spoken as she was, but I’m here for all of you and I hope you're all here for me."
Mama Rosa says she tells people one thing when they see her.
Mama Rosa says she's often greeted by people who want to hug her when they see her out in public. “I say, ‘You can hug me, but you cannot cry,’” she said. “’Just don’t cry because if you cry, I’ll start crying and I can’t stop.’”
She shares how she plans to keep her daughter's legacy alive.
Anne read off a question sent in by a podcast listener asking what Mama Rosa thought Shannen would want her to do to keep the late actress' legacy alive.
"Well I think we've got a good start on it right now with all the people that are listening on the podcast, and I have hope that we can keep the podcast going and that depends on everybody and me as well. I promise to do better as I get along with this," Mama Rose said, admitting she's a little shy. “Her legacy will be the love that she gave to everybody that she knew and the love that she gave to people that she didn’t know."
