What to Know
Fans of Angelina Jolie were not expecting to spot her daughter Shiloh Jolie in a K-pop music video. When watching a short teaser for Dayoung’s “What’s a Girl to Do” music video that has been circulating on social media, many had to do a double-take. But, yes, Shiloh really is in the music video, and she is actually the spitting image of her mom.
And while many fans felt Shiloh’s appearance in the music video felt so “random,” others couldn’t get over how she looks exactly like her mom. They said they can’t wait to see more of the “future it girl.”
The full video is set to drop on April 7.

So far, people have only caught a glimpse of Shiloh, who is now 19 years old. Even without seeing the full video, the resemblance between Shiloh and Angelina is striking. “She is the carbon copy of her mom…” one fan commented on the video on X. Someone else said she’s “literally Angelina’s twin,” while another fan noted, “She is her mother’s daughter.”
Several people pointed out that Shiloh and her mom don’t just look alike. They also have the same “aura.” One fan wrote, “having their face is one thing but having their AURA sometimes nepotism is fine.”
And someone else said, “Three generations of insane face cards, those genes are STRONG.”
Some people were focused on the nepotism of it all.

And others questioned how Dayoung, a member of the K-pop girl group WJSN (Cosmic Girls), managed to get Shiloh in her new music video. But Dayoung’s team insisted that Shiloh’s role in the video had nothing to do with her famous parents, Brad Pitt and Angelina.
A spokesperson from Dayoung’s label, Starship Entertainment, explained, “We held an open audition in the US to cast performers for Dayoung’s music video. Among those who took part were several performers affiliated with a dance crew called Culture.” (Per The Independent).
And in spite of the very obvious resemblance, the label actually claimed that they had no idea Shiloh was related to Angelina or Brad. “Shiloh was selected in the final round and ended up joining Dayoung’s music video. Even after filming, we had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only found out by chance quite recently,” the spokesperson added.
People questioned whether Shiloh plans on following in her mom’s footsteps.

This is her music video debut, but she’s worked as a choreographer before, per Page Six. “Literally Angelina incarnate and has none of that man’s genes!” one person on social media noted. “Oh Shiloh you future it girl.” Despite the music video appearance, it’s unclear whether Shiloh is truly interested in being an “it girl” at all.
Previously, Angelina explained that her kids do not seem interested in appearing in films or being in the spotlight in any way. Shiloh, in particular, is an “extremely private” person, according to her mother.
Although she clearly enjoys dancing, there are aspects of the entertainment industry that she seems to have no interest in. Angelina said her kids “really don’t like any of the celebrity part of it, especially Shiloh hates it.”
Fair enough. But naturally, fans are wondering if this new music video means we’ll be seeing more from Shiloh.
