When Kody and Janelle Brown‘s son Garrison Brown died by suicide in March 2024, Sister Wives fans were devastated for the family. He was only 25 at the time of his death, and his mental health struggles were previously unknown to TLC viewers. Now, nine months after Garrison’s unexpected passing, Janelle has reportedly sold his home.
Kody and his ex, Janelle, welcomed six kids: Logan, Madison, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel, and Savanah. The patriarch also shares six kids with his ex, Christine; one child with his ex, Meri; and five kids with his remaining wife, Robyn. Recently, Janelle took a major step as the executor of Garrison’s estate.

Janelle sold Garrison's home nine months after his death.
In Touch Weekly confirmed on December 30 that Janelle had sold her son Garrison’s home, a four-bedroom, two-bathroom property in Flagstaff, Arizona. The U.S. Sun first reported that the home sold for $388,650. Janelle has served as the personal representative of Garrison’s estate; Kody has not been involved.
Janelle reportedly lowered the price multiple times.
Garrison bought the home for $329,000 in 2021, according to the U.S. Sun. Originally, Janelle listed it for $425,000 in September before dropping the price several times. It decreased to $399,900 on October 3 and $389,900 on November 11.
Garrison died by suicide at the home earlier in 2024.
Garrison died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, the Coconino County Medical Examiner confirmed in May, per People. The office ruled his death a suicide, listing alcohol poisoning as a contributing factor. The suicide took place in a bedroom of his Flagstaff home, where his brother, Gabriel, discovered his body.
Garrison “had been struggling with mental health concerns and alcohol abuse,” Gabriel told police, per the U.S. Sun.

In the wake of their son's death, Kody and Janelle released a joint statement.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” Janelle wrote in a statement via Instagram. “He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
On his own Instagram grid, Kody shared a nearly identical message.
The bereaved mom recently reflected on spending the first 'big' holidays without Garrison.
On December 1, Janelle took to Instagram with a photo of a framed picture of Garrison.
“First of the ‘big’ holidays without you sweetheart,” she wrote just days after Thanksgiving. “We all gathered in NC to celebrate together and kept your photo close by. We laughed about your silly sense of humor and told so many stories honoring you.”
Janelle concluded, “Everyone is returning home now and normal life resumes tomorrow. But I feel you close by.”
