‘South Park’ Shares Ruthless Unaired Scene Mocking Kristi Noem

Season 27 of South Park does not hold back in saying what creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker think about the United States government. So when Episode 2 dropped on Comedy Central and then Paramount Plus, it was little surprise to many that Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem was a big part of the episode.

In the episode, the animated version of Noem leads ICE and even raids a live production of Dora the Explorer. It is clearly a comedic take on how the South Park creators view the Homeland Security head.

Throughout the episode, Noem is also shown with a habitually melting face as a nod to plastic surgery gone wrong. Later, the official South Park account on X (formerly Twitter) released an end credits type of scene involving Noem doing a lot more than ICE raids.

‘South Park’s unaired scene about Kristi Noem was shared after the episode aired.

Although the episode of South Park that aired on Comedy Central did not include the special new scene, it is part of the episode on Paramount Plus. In the clip, Noem takes her trigger happy habits to a new level as she appears to open fire on not only employees inside a pet store, but also lots of dogs.

You can hear the whimpers of dogs as Noem’s South Park version runs back and forth shooting. In the X post, it says, “Didn’t see this on TV? Here’s the Paramount+ version of the end credits scene.”

Underneath the post, someone asked what the context is of seeing Noem shoot and kill countless dogs in the unaired clip.

Per The Guardian, Noem wrote about killing a dog in her 2024 book, No Going Back: The Truth on What’s Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward. She wrote that her wirehair pointer had such an “aggressive” personality that she felt she had to put the dog down herself. The book also details how Noem had to do the same with other hunting dogs that could not be properly trained.

It’s a bit of a deep cut when it comes to politics and Noem, especially since the book came out well before the South Park episode was presumably written. But the unaired scene featuring Noem definitely had people talking after it was posted on X.

“This entire administration is made up of vile people and Noem isn’t even the worst of them. Kudos on this bit, South Park,” one user commented on the X post.

Another user wrote, “She never made any comments about these dog killing jokes. She only cared when you made fun of her fake face.”

This is in reference to Noem’s reaction to the episode that aired, prior to the unaired clip being posted on social media. Per The Hill, Noem called the episode “lazy.”

Apparently, in response, South Park released that additional scene for good measure.
