Tarek El Moussa allegedly got into a “bad” fight in Las Vegas, and now his ex Christina Haack is saying she hopes their kids learn from their “mistakes.” On June 10, TMZ reported that Tarek, 43, was involved in a physical altercation that broke out at The Palazzo at the Venetian Resort and “escalated quickly.” Though Tarek wasn’t arrested, police reportedly issued him a citation.
He got into a fight with another man.
Per TMZ, sources allege that Tarek was protecting a relative. People seemed to confirm this, later reporting that the man Tarek fought with had allegedly been harassing his dad. Onlookers described the fight as “bad,” and the Flip Off star reportedly left the other man looking “seriously roughed up.”
The incident occurred on June 5, and Tarek was cited for battery.
On June 10, Christina Haack shared photos of their blended family.
Days after the heated altercation, Tarek’s ex Christina wrote an emotional message for their daughter Taylor, who is officially done with middle school and moving on to high school. Tarek and Christina finalized their divorce in 2018 and maintain a friendly relationship as co-parents (and costars). Before their divorce, Christina and Tarek welcomed two children: Taylor, who is 14, and Brayden, 9.
Tarek and his current wife, Heather El Moussa, were also included in the joint Instagram post.
“Taylor we are so proud of you and so excited for you to head into the next stage of your life,” Christina wrote on Instagram. “Our beautiful, smart, incredible, bright light we all love and adore you.”
She went on to allude to their ‘mistakes.’
“We hope all the mistakes you’ve watched us make throughout your life help to guide you to a brighter future…. 😜🤣🤣 love you baby,” Christina continued. “High school here we come!!!”
The comment about their mistakes might’ve been a reference to their failed marriage, among other things. Given the timing, however, some couldn’t help but see a connection between the post and the fight Tarek was involved in.
Still, fans praised the blended family.
In spite of their complicated past, many fans think Christina and Tarek are amazing co-parents to their kids and appreciate the way they’ve seemingly blended their families so seamlessly.
“Can I just say I am OBSESSED with the fact Heather is on Christina’s side….” one person commented on the recent post. “What women empowerment & truly having one another’s back.”
Another person noted that their family dynamic was a great example of “how a blended family should treat each other.”
On June 11, Tarek shared one of Christina’s posts to his Instagram Stories. The post read, “We’ve been through a lot but one thing we’ve always been is great co parents.”
