Fans Think Taylor Swift Should Dump Travis Kelce After He Shoved Andy Reid at Super Bowl

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have a lot to celebrate. Just one week after Taylor started off February strong by winning album of the year for Midnights at the Grammys, Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs won their second Super Bowl in a row. But not all of the singer's fans are celebrating — in fact, after seeing Travis get fired up on the field and yell at coach Andy Reid, some of them are even saying that he and Taylor should break up.

During one moment of the game, Travis had an outburst toward his coach.

At the time, it seemed that Travis was upset that he wasn't included in an important play in the second quarter of the game and was taking that anger out on his 65-year-old coach. After yelling close to Andy's face, Travis then appears to push him, knocking him off balance in the process.

Some people believe it's a sign that Travis is a violent person.

Not only did multiple people share that they believe that Travis should have been removed from the game for this, but others also thought it was a red flag that Taylor should be paying attention to.

"Travis Kelce opened up a window for me to have a chat with my daughter about red flags," news radio host Torey Snow tweeted on X. "Anger and aggression is normal but when they show themselves willing to get physical, especially with people they trust and respect (like a coach) that's dangerous."

Others aren't convinced it's something Taylor should be worried about, though.

Other fans pointed out that this happens in sports, especially in a high-stakes game like the Super Bowl where the players are all hopped up on adrenaline.

"Y'all are trying WAY too hard to cancel Travis Kelce. Stress causes people to get frustrated and have momentary lash-outs in the heat of the moment," one person tweeted. "Travis will probably turn right around when the adrenaline stops and apologize to Reid."

In a press conference after the game, Travis and Andy both addressed the incident.

"I've got the greatest coach this game has ever seen," Travis said. "He's helped me a lot with that — with channeling that emotion and channeling that passion and I owe my entire career to that guy."

When it was Andy's turn to speak, he said, "The part I love is he loves to play the game and he wants to help his team win. It's not a selfish thing … As much as he bumps into me, I get after him, and we understand that."

Taylor didn't seem bothered by it.

When the game came to an end, Taylor joined Travis' mom, Donna Kelce, and brother Jason Kelce on the field to celebrate, with photographers capturing the moment the couple embraced and kissed as they were reunited.

Hopefully this was a lesson for Travis, along with the backlash that came from the incident. Adrenaline can result in some uncharacteristic behavior, and what matters most is that Travis and Andy seem to be as tight as they've always been.
