For a while, it seemed like Taylor Swift was always out and about, whether she was being snapped by paparazzi as she went out with friends, performing on the Eras Tour, or cheering on boyfriend Travis Kelce as he played with the Kansas City Chiefs. Now that both the Eras Tour and football season are over, Taylor has been suspiciously silent, and her last Instagram post was shared on December 11, more than three months ago.
So where is Taylor? After she and Travis were briefly spotted in Park City, Utah, a source claiming to be close to the Tortured Poets Department singer told The Daily Mail that she is intentionally “in hiding” now that Justin Baldoni has roped her into his lawsuit involving Blake Lively – one of Taylor’s closest friends.
The news outlet reported that its source told it, “Not only is her once strong bond with Lively now said to be on the rocks, but Swift is increasingly avoiding many of her friends and seeking support from Kelce during this trying time.”
For now, that means she’s putting a bit of distance between herself and her BFFs. “She is still in touch with a select few but currently doesn’t want to be dragging anyone else into this mess,” the insider continued. “Swift is very aware of the speculation surrounding her involvement in It Ends with Us.“
There might be reason to take this report with a grain of salt, however, because according to another report, a different source told Page Six that Taylor “is a strong woman and she’s not hiding from anything.”
“Taylor is simply enjoying some alone time with Travis and being under the radar for a little bit,” the source added.
It makes sense if Taylor is in the mood to lay low these days. After spending nearly two years straight performing the Eras Tour both in the US and internationally – and making it to as many of Travis’ games as she could on her off days – she must be truly exhausted. And because two of her rerecorded albums have yet to be released, she’s probably gearing up to get back to work pretty soon.
With how long Taylor and Blake have been close, it’s probably more likely that she has been a support for her during the ongoing lawsuit. After all, it was Justin who dragged Taylor’s name into it, not Blake.
