Taylor Swift Surprises Fans With Performance at Travis Kelce’s Tight End University Concert

After the Eras Tour came to an end in December, it seemed as if it would be a long time before we saw Taylor Swift on stage again – after all, the girl deserved a break after nearly two years on the road. But as it turns out, she decided to grab a mic a lot sooner than anyone expected. On Tuesday night, Taylor surprised fans by performing at a concert hosted by boyfriend Travis Kelce, and Swifties are (understandably) totally freaking out.

Taylor performed ‘Shake It Off.’

She jumped on stage at the Tight Ends & Friends concert in Nashville on Tuesday, where she was joined by a band and country singer Kane Brown to perform her hit “Shake It Off.”

“We would like to dedicate this to our favorite players who are going to play and these are the tight ends,” Taylor said before she began to sing, after revealing to the crowd that she’d only planned to perform minutes earlier. It’s pretty impressive she and the band managed to pull this together so quickly, but then again, if anyone could do it, it’s Taylor.

The event was connected to Travis’ Tight End University.

For those who might not already know, Tight End University is a training camp for NFL tight ends that was founded by Travis, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen. Every year, the camp lasts for three days and includes fun events like the concert that also help the organization raise money for charity.

The athletes’ friends and family are invited to some of the events that go on during the camp, and obviously, that includes Taylor this year.

She and Travis made their red carpet debut earlier this week.

Even though the couple has been together for nearly two years, they only made their red carpet debut earlier this week at the Tight End University opening ceremony. They also attended the after-party that followed, where Taylor took her time mingling with fellow WAGs, as well as taking pictures with lucky attendees who also happened to be fans.

This seems like a fun week for these two!

This is the first time she’s performed live since gaining ownership of her masters.

In May, Taylor announced that she had regained control of her masters years after they were purchased by Scooter Braun. This means that she now owns all of her music, including the albums that aren’t designated as “Taylor’s version.”

It’s a bit poetic that Taylor was able to step back on stage for the first time after owning all of her music in the same city where it all began – Nashville, of course. Then again, this is Taylor we’re talking about, so would we have expected anything different?
