Terry Crews Reveals He & Wife Rebecca Have Experienced 3 Miscarriages

America's Got Talent host Terry Crews is opening up about something painful that he and his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, have experienced firsthand. In a new interview, Terry revealed that he and Rebecca have had three miscarriages in the time they spent growing their family, and he shared how the couple has coped with going through something as difficult as pregnancy loss over the years.

The group Sky Elements put on an awe-inspiring show to the song "Butterfly" by Lily Meola. The song is about living life after losing someone you love, and the performance was dedicated to member Preston Ward's daughter, Briley Rose, who died as an infant in 2020.

Unfortunately, Terry was able to connect with the performance on a personal level.

In an interview with People, Terry shared that he and Rebecca, who have been married since 1989, have been through three miscarriages themselves.

"Me and my wife, we know what it's like to lose a child," he said. "We've had three miscarriages. It's one of those things where it was so meaningful and special because the dedication is just, it's a way to process these things."

He felt like the performance was so necessary.

"I think the show needed it," he said. "This is the perfect AGT show today."

This week's episode of America's Got Talent was the Semi Finals 2 round, which means the stakes are getting high. Now, only six acts remain in the competition, and Sky Elements is one of them.

Terry also shared the way he processes these difficult moments in life.

For him, there are two things that help more than others: listening to music and talking with Rebecca.

"We talk it out. We have really, really nice long, deep conversation. Turn the TV off, turn the phone off and let's just talk it through," he said. "And it's amazing what that does. You know what I mean? Definitely. It really, truly, you turn around an hour later you're like, 'Wow, I can handle anything.'"

Today, he and Rebecca have five children.

Amid their losses, Terry and Rebecca have also welcomed five children during their 35-year marriage: daughters Naomi, 36, Azriél, 33, Tera, 26, and Wynfrey, 21, and son Isaiah, 19.

Pregnancy loss is so difficult but so important to talk about. Terry and Rebecca are not alone in their experience, though that doesn't make it any less heartbreaking.
