Donald Trump Announces Daughter Tiffany Is Expecting Her First Baby: ‘So That’s Nice’

Tiffany Trump is expecting her first baby with her husband, Michael Boulos, Donald Trump revealed on October 10. While speaking to the Detroit Economic Club, the former president spotted Tiffany’s father-in-law, Massad Boulos, in the audience, which prompted him to share that Tiffany is pregnant.

Tiffany, 30, who is the only child the former president shares with his second wife, Marla Maples, has not spoken publicly about her pregnancy.

'So that's nice,' Donald said of his daughter's pregnancy.

When speaking about businessperson Massad Boulos, Donald noted that he “happens to be the father of Tiffany’s husband, Michael, who’s a very exceptional young guy.” Donald continued by saying that Tiffany is “an exceptional young woman.”

“And she’s going to have a baby,” he added. “So that’s nice.” It’s unclear if he intended on announcing his daughter’s pregnancy in this way, as Tiffany had not yet shared the news herself.

Tiffany and Michael tied the knot in 2022.

On November 12, 2022, Tiffany and Michael married at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. Marla spoke to People about why Tiffany and her husband chose to get married at Mar-a-Lago.

“We are focused on this sacred union and welcoming beloved friends and family, not on politics,” Marla told the magazine at the time. ” She also told People that “this was Tiffany’s childhood home and where she was brought into the world.”

Tiffany announced her engagement in 2021.

Per People, Tiffany and her husband started dating in 2018. A few years later Tiffany announced that she and Michael were engaged.

“It has been an honor to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House, none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé Michael!” Tiffany shared on January 19, 2021, around the end of her father’s presidential term. “Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter! ❤️”

The couple recently celebrated Michael's 27th birthday.

On Instagram, Tiffany’s mom shared a photo of the celebration, writing that she is “so grateful for the blessing of our families coming together.” Addressing Michael directly, Marla wrote, “Michael, I am so inspired by the Love and Friendship that you and Tiffany share 🙌 On this your birthday week & always, I wish you abundant joy, endless love, and that you always keep God as your partner ✨🙌✨Love, your “mom-in-love” 😁 mom-in-law never felt like the proper label…”

Tiffany was mostly raised by her mom.

Compared to her half-siblings, Tiffany is less involved in politics, though she has supported her father’s political pursuits, speaking at the Republican National Convention in 2016 and 2020. In 2024, she attended the convention but did not speak.

When she was growing up, Tiffany didn’t have a very close relationship with her dad because they didn’t see each other very often. This allegedly strained relationship has continued for Tiffany’s “whole life” and was “exacerbated by the presidency,” a source told People in 2018.

Donald was not super involved in raising Tiffany. “Her daddy is a good provider with education and such, but as far as time, it was just me,” Marla told People. “Her father wasn’t able to be there with day-to-day skills as a parent. He loves his kids. There’s no doubt. But everything was a bit of a negotiation.”

Donald currently has 10 grandchildren.

Tiffany is Donald’s youngest daughter. His older children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric, have 10 children between them. His oldest grandchild, Kai Madison Trump, 17, spoke at the Republican National Convention. “To me, he’s just a normal grandpa,” she said at the time. “He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking. He always wants to know how we’re doing in school.”
