Now that Todd Chrisley is a free man again, he’s not wasting any time setting the record straight. During an appearance on Kandi Burruss’ Speak On It podcast, Todd gave a blunt statement on the rumors that he had an affair with his former business partner, Mark Braddock — and he’s really not mincing words at this point.
Mark first made the claims during the Chrisleys’ trial.
While testifying in Todd and Julie’s trial back in 2022, Mark alleged that he and Todd had an affair for about a year in the early 2000s before they settled into a friendship. At the same time, he claimed they received text messages from an anonymous person threatening to out them if they weren’t paid off, which led to Todd reportedly paying the person $38,000 to keep quiet.
According to Business Insider, Mark’s lingering feelings are what supposedly pushed him to commit bank fraud on Todd’s behalf.
According to Todd, there’s no truth to Mark’s story.
While talking to Kandi, Todd really put it all out there, saying, “Let’s just be very clear: If I had f—– him once, he’d have come back for seconds.
“He said it was a one-time thing, thinks it was an experiment,” he added. “You ain’t experimenting on s—! You know what you’re doing.”
In the past, Todd has faced rumors that he hasn’t come out of the closet.
Fortunately, he doesn’t let those rumors bother him, as he said during a 2017 appearance on The Domenick Nati Show.
“In order for it to disappoint me, it would mean that I don’t agree with someone being gay,” he said. “I don’t believe that’s a choice that you make. I believe that you are the way that God has made you.”
Todd has been married to Julie Chrisley since 1996.
Todd and Julie have been married since 1996, and they have three children, Savannah, Chase, and Grayson. Before his relationship with Julie, Todd was married to Teresa Terry for six years, and they share kids Kyle and Lindsie.
