Travis Kelce’s Alleged Old Tweets About Women’s Bodies Are Making Swifties Uncomfortable

The narrative of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce being their fans’ English teacher and gym teacher, respectively, or being the theater kid and the school jock, is the fantasy that Swifties seem to love. But if Travis is a gym teacher and a jock, it means that he might have once been the school bully in this fantasy scenario of the pair. And now, his alleged resurfaced tweets sort of back that up.

A user on TikTok shared screenshots of old tweets that are allegedly from Travis’s account on X from long before he and Taylor met and got together. They paint a picture of the kind of snarky athlete that you might expect Travis to be rather than the sweet partner Taylor chose for herself and presents to the world. If the tweet screenshots are accurate, they are kind of hard to ignore, even if Travis has changed over the years.

People pointed out Travis Kelce’s strange “obsession” with the bodies of women.

According to the timestamps on the tweets, they are from 2010 and 2011. Travis and Taylor did not confirm their relationship until 2023. At the time of the screenshots of alleged tweets, Travis was in college. Do we chalk up rude comments about women to Travis being a dumb college kid? Sure, we could. But it’s also hard to ignore what he seems to have said. At least, according to the screenshots.

In one tweet from 2010, Travis allegedly wrote, “As a man, you have something wrong with you if your going to girls than weigh more then you!1” And yes, those grammatical errors were in the tweet.

Another tweet says, “Haha when fat people fall, it’s like slow motion entertainment, cuz they never JUST fall, they always tumble [and] gradually hit the deck.”

A 2011 tweet points to Travis’s apparent criteria for what cheerleaders should look like.

He allegedly wrote, “I feel like if u wanna be a cheerleader you have to pass a beauty test…there’s too many ugly cheerleaders out here smh.”

Others called him a classic frat boy.

In the comments under the post, users on TikTok pointed out the frat boy image that the tweets give off. If the screenshots really are from posts that Travis made once upon a time, they show a side of him that both Travis and Taylor have managed to keep quiet as they shared their love story with the world.

“He’s a frat boy type and she’s a perpetual basic teenager. They’re perfect for each other,” one TikTok user commented.

“His obsession with the way women’s bodies look screams something else to me…,” someone else wrote.

Another user, who, like Travis, is from Ohio, wrote, “As a girl from Ohio, there is no way this midwestern high school football player was anything other than an illiterate, immature, attention-seeking meathead.”

Critics are still calling his relationship with Taylor Swift a business deal.

Even though Travis and Taylor got married in July 2026, there are still those who don’t see the relationship as anything other than a wild PR stunt. Or, at least, it started out that way. Critics even commented on the TikTok to share that continued theory.

“He was publicly obsessed with her, which she loved,” someone commented. “She elevated his status, which he loved. It’s a mutually beneficial relationship. It’s a business deal.”

How long this “business deal” lasts remains to be seen.
