Travis Kelce Bashfully Reveals His Favorite Taylor Swift Song

Travis Kelce has been a loud and proud supporter of girlfriend Taylor Swift from the beginning of their relationship, but somehow, talking about her at his Tight End University event got him feeling a little bashful. In a new video shared by the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, Travis opened up about his favorite Taylor song, and so did other tight ends in the NFL.

The moment unfolded at the Tight End University event that took place earlier this week — the training camp that Travis and his collaborators Greg Olsen and George Kittle host every year.

During the one-day during camp that had the players out on the field, the hosts of the podcast asked each of the guys at the camp what their favorite Taylor songs were, and let’s just say that these dudes have range.

First up was retired player Rob Gronkowski, who admitted that he loves “Shake It Off,” and even sang (and shimmed) a little to prove his point. Go, Rob!

Travis was next, and his answer was pretty predictable: “So High School,” the song from Taylor’s Tortured Poets Department album that she wrote about him. What wasn’t predictable? The way this typically confident guy was totally blushing while he shared his answer.

When the host asked him to sing some of the lyrics, Travis — who is usually all for performing — simply couldn’t do it, admitting that he was “too shy.” Aww!

While this wasn’t a surprising pick for Travis at all, it is a bit of a departure from what he’s said his favorite song is in the past. For a very long time, it was “Blank Space” or bust.

“‘Blank Space’ was one I wanted to hear live for sure. I could make a bad guy good for the weekend. That’s a helluva line,” he told The Wall Street Journal in a 2023 interview.

Other popular choices among the players? “Love Story” and “22” were big hits with the guys.

Since Taylor was a big fixture at the event this year, even hopping on stage for an impromptu performance at the Tight Ends & Friends concert, it’s good to hear that she had plenty of fans among the athletes who trained with Travis over the week. She was in good company!
