We’ve seen Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in multiple television roles, and more are coming this fall.
A jump to the big screen could be next.
Variety reported that Travis is in talks to appear in an action/comedy movie called Loose Cannons. It’s to be produced by Chad Stahelski, who directed all four John Wick films.
IMDB.com has this description of Loose Cannons: “Two unhinged police officers are forced to partner up after their precincts merge, and they take on cases no one else can handle.”
The movie’s writer is Timothy Dowling, whose IMDB writing credits include a pair of Adam Sandler movies, Just Go With It and Pixels. Timothy also wrote Role Models with Paul Rudd, and Office Christmas Party, which starred Jason Bateman and Olivia Munn.
A 1990 movie called Loose Cannons starring Dan Aykroyd and Gene Hackman was of the action/comedy genre featuring police officers, but Variety said Travis’ film would not be a remake.

Travis will appear in two television shows.
Travis, who was in the 2020 comedy Moonbase 8, will be seen in a pair of television shows this fall. He is hosting Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity, which debuts October 16, and will costar in Grotesquerie, a horror/drama on FX. That show starts on September 25.
Before that, Travis will begin a reality-show quest of sorts as he and the Chiefs will attempt to become the first team in NFL history to win a third straight Super Bowl championship.
The Chiefs open the season with the NFL Kickoff Game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 5 at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
