What to Know
Nobody has any real idea about the actual details of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s impending nuptials, other than the fact that the wedding is probably taking place at some point this summer. The same goes for their plans for their married future — truly, it’s anybody’s guess. But Travis may have dropped a hint about one major change that could take place after the knot is tied, thanks to his recent social media activity.
Travis liked an Instagram post speculating about what last name the couple will take after they’re married.
On this week’s episode of the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast — one that Travis has appeared on as a guest before — the hosts discussed Tayvis’ appearance at the game. The cover photo of the post posed this question: “what last name will Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce take?”
They added in the caption, “Travis Kelce-Swift kinda has a ring to it.”
Travis liked the post, which only proves even more how perfect he is for Taylor. She really does need someone secure enough in himself that he could imagine taking her last name (though if I had to guess, the most likely outcome is that they’re both going to keep their names as is, at least professionally).
The podcasters also pointed out that Taylor is a bit more famous than her fiancé… sorry, Travis.

Not only did the hosts point out that the announcers at the Knicks-Cavs game were discrediting Taylor and Travis’ relationship by referring to her as his “girlfriend” instead of his fiancée, but they also pointed out that since Taylor is more famous than Travis, he’d “have to change” his last name.
They settled on the couple hyphenating their last name, which would actually be pretty cute.
Travis said that it was special to him to take Taylor to the basketball game last week.

Travis talked about the game on his own podcast, New Heights, this week, too, sharing why he was so excited to bring Taylor to a game in his home state of Ohio.
“This wasn’t me trying to persuade Taylor into being a Cleveland sports fan with me,” he explained. “This was me just having a fun date night knowing that I love going to basketball games. We actually tried to go to a game in New York but I was stuck in Kansas City.”
He continued, “I love bringing her into the sports world that I appreciate. That’s why you’ve seen us at the U.S. Open tennis matches, other baseball games, and the Guards vs. the Yanks two years ago. I just enjoy bringing her to experience a lot of the fun that I’ve always known to have.”
It seems like this is the first of many basketball games these two will take in together. They did have a good time, even if the Cavs lost.
