While some fans have been wondering when exactly Travis Kelce might pop the question, a recent wedding invite leak has left people thinking that the NFL player and Taylor Swift could have already tied the knot.
Chicago Bears player Cole Kmet’s wedding planner, Ellie Nottoli, surprised Swifties when she shared a photo of a letter addressed to “Taylor & Travis Kelce.” Once eagle-eyed fans saw the letter on social media, they began to wonder whether the pop star and Travis have been secretly married for some time.
The letter was from Chicago Bears player Cole Kmet’s wedding.
On Saturday, June 7, Cole married Emily Jarosz. Their wedding planner’s Instagram Stories posts made it clear that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were on the guest list. Ellie shared a photo of a letter addressed to “Taylor & Travis Kelce,” who were assigned to Table 13. “Each guest had an envelope that was adhered to a beautiful backdrop, and Emily wrote love notes to all of her guests,” the wedding planner explained, per Page Six.
However, Taylor and Travis actually attended a different wedding over the weekend. On Friday, June 6, Travis’ cousin Tanner got married at the RiverView Family Farm in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The invitation from Cole’s wedding still fueled marriage rumors.

One eagle-eyed Swiftie shared the photo of the letter addressed to Taylor and Travis on X, writing, “TAYLOR AND TRAVIS KELCE?!????? [EXCUSE] ME.”
A second person took to X to ask other fans, “Y’all did Taylor and Travis get married or is that just a coincidence?”
Another fan wrote: “TABLE 13????? TAYLOR AND TRAVIS KELCE???? THIS IS SO SERIOUS.”
However, others argued that it really isn’t that serious. Writing their names that way does not mean that they’re actually married, some suggested. “Me and my bf do that too on gifts and stuff even though we aren’t married, it’s just kinda for the aesthetic of it,” one person wrote.
Others said that writing names this way seems pretty “standard” for weddings. “Etiquette for unmarried couples is to put the ladies first name followed by the mans full name,” one fan wrote on X.
Others really hated the way it sounded.
i may be too woke but i just saw that wedding invitation that said “taylor and travis kelce” and i just think it’s a bit weird how they automatically put his last name on it and not hers pic.twitter.com/Z1fxhQnGS6

Some Taylor Swift fans think the name “Taylor Kelce” has “a lovely ring to it,” but others were kind of offended by it.
“And not travis swift???!?!??” one fan questioned.
A second person wrote: “I feel like he should be taking her name lol. Even if just for vibes.”
Many other fans echoed this sentiment, with one writing, “oh thats travis swift to you actually.”
So are Taylor and Travis secretly married?
No, probably not. As Page Six reported, Taylor and Travis did not even attend this wedding, and the wedding planner noted on Instagram that they were “at a different wedding in Tennessee.” On June 9, E! News reported that in spite of the rumors, Taylor and Travis are not currently married.
