Aunt of Tristan Thompson’s First Son Calls Out Kim Kardashian for Saying He’s a ‘Good Dad’

Jordan Craig, the ex-girlfriend of Tristan Thompson and mother to his first child, Prince, has her sister in the headlines for calling out Kim Kardashian. The drama started after the most recent episode of The Kardashians, where Kim defended her decision to have a friendly relationship with Tristan despite him no longer being in a romantic relationship with her sister, Khloé Kardashian.

In the episode, Kim spoke highly of Tristan and defended him against naysayers.

On the family’s reality show, the episodes currently airing follow the timeframe where Tristan and his disabled brother, Amari Thompson, moved in with Khloé after the sudden death of his mom and issues with his home renovations.

In the Hulu reality show, Kim was asked by a producer about her feelings about Tristan.

She only had good things to say.

"It's so crazy because he's such a good friend, and he's such a good dad, but he just couldn't get it together in that area of being a faithful boyfriend," Kim said.

"So you want to obviously hate him for that. Yeah, of course, his actions and who he was were so f—ed up. I can't deny that,” she explained. “We've had our talks about it and we've had our fights about it."

Kim also said that when she was struggling with her divorce from Kanye West, Tristan was there for her kids.

"When he saw me struggling with my kids, he stepped up," she shared.

"He started showing up to the games. He picked Saint up, takes him to dinner and will always come to my defense, especially if it's stuff with me and my ex. I just never forgot that," she added. "I'll never really throw someone away and act like I don't think they can grow and evolve."

After the episode aired, Kai, aunt to Tristan’s oldest kid, addressed Kim’s comments that he’s such a good dad.

For some quick context, Kai’s sister, Jordan, dated Tristan before he was in a relationship with Khloé. Jordan and Tristan dated for about two years, splitting sometime in 2016 although the exact timeline isn’t clear.

Jordan became pregnant with Tristan’s first kiddo, but he started dating Khloé around September 2016, and Jordan and Tristian's baby was born in December of that same year. Over the years, however, the timeline on who was or wasn’t together has been really muddy.

Jordan’s and Tristan’s son, Prince, is 6 years old and, according to reports, Tristan is not involved in his life.

On top of all that, and in addition to the two children Tristan has with Khloé, he fathered another kiddo, Theo, while he was still together with Khloé and preparing to welcome their second child via surrogate. Reports say Tristan isn’t involved in Theo’s life either.

And Tristian being called a “good dad” by Kim despite ignoring two of his four kids, upset Jordan’s sister Kai.

In a public post shared to Instagram, Kai acknowledged her family’s yearslong silence on Tristan and his actions, but she shared she’s speaking now because things have gotten to be 'too much.'

“It has been so hard to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister’s privacy, I haven’t for over 7 years, but this is just too much,” she wrote.

“It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to do these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent for my nephew Prince. The fact that he can take other children to school and activities in the same cart, yet never sees or speaks to his own son, unless it’s for a party or planned photo opportunity, is appalling and inexcusable,” she claimed.

Kai pointed fingers and called out Kim for choosing to 'defend' Tristan.

“@KimKardashian, I don’t want to believe that you are this insensitive to the fact that he literally ignores his children. That’s nice if he’s been a good friend to you, but let’s consider our sisters before taking to global platforms to defend this man’s character,” she wrote.

She also alleged that Tristan hasn't been paying child support or anything else.

“Tristan has not paid that child support in a very long time and has stopped paying Prince’s school tuition."

"Yet he’s being applauded for picking-up/dropping-off other kids to school/activities. He hasn’t even inquired where Prince goes to school now,” she wrote.

“Despite it all, my sister continues to work multiple jobs as she has since she was 16-years-old, so that Prince will never have to feel a difference. But regardless, stepping up for your son is not all about money it’s about the time spent. @RealTristan13 you are NOT a good father if you can’t be a good father to ALL of your children,” she ended.

The Kardashians or Tristan have not acknowledged Kai's claims.
