Trump Family Celebrated Kai’s Graduation With a Fancy Dinner & the Timing Has People Furious

One of Donald Trump‘s grandchildren has reached a major life milestone, but the way the family marked the occasion is leaving a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths. After the family was spotted celebrating Kai Trump‘s graduation with dinner at an upscale restaurant, critics can’t help but point out how out of touch the family is as they openly enjoy a lavish meal while so many people are struggling to afford basic necessities.

Kai’s family was spotted out together in Palm Beach.

As Page Six reported, several members of Kai’s family — including parents Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, along with Tiffany Trump — came together to celebrate the 19-year-old golfer graduating high school. Photographers caught them at a restaurant called Blackbird Modern Asian, where they spent two hours eating… and wrapping up their meal with two cakes, including one that featured sparklers.

The dinner followed Kai’s graduation ceremony, which was also attended by Tiger Woods, her mom’s boyfriend, though Page Six added that he did not join the family for dinner.

Critics are slamming the Trumps for flaunting their wealth.

Going out to dinner after graduation is pretty typical for many families celebrating this milestone, but in light of the current affordability crisis (including the war in Iran that also happens to be driving gas prices higher every day) many people aren’t interested in seeing the Trumps enjoying a fancy dinner out… and understandably so.

In fact, Radar Online pointed out that some of the messages about the dinner are pretty brutal, with one person writing, “Who cares. We can’t afford gas.”

Another referenced the war in Iran in a post on X, writing, “Kai Trump’s grandpa bombed a school and triple-tapped it, killing over 160 schoolchildren who will never graduate. Congratz.”

This isn’t the first time Kai has received backlash in recent months.

In April, Kai shared a video on TikTok answering a question about where she sees herself in five years, and people weren’t impressed with her response.

“In five years, hopefully I’ll be graduating from college, then, and I can really see myself hopefully being on the LPGA tour playing professional golf,” she said, adding that she hoped to keep building her “brand” as an influencer.

Commenters quickly called her out for being tone deaf — you know, given the state of the world and everything — and some even suggested that she join the military… or help reign in her grandpa, at the very least.

Kai’s just graduating from high school and starting out her life, but there’s no doubt that she’s going to continue to be held to a higher standard because of who her family is. Hopefully she’ll be able to handle the critics!
