Donald Trump has given a public note of appreciation to Brittany Mahomes and her husband, Patrick Mahomes. In a post made on the former president's social media site, Truth Social, he openly praised the "beautiful" 29-year-old former soccer player for apparently supporting his current campaign to be elected again. He also acknowledged Brittany and Patrick as a "great couple" before mentioning that he'd be seeing them at the Super Bowl. Of course, the Republican presidential nominee's post has drawn a lot of negative attention to the NFL star's wife.

Trump thanked Brittany for her support.
"I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country," he wrote in the post. "With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless 'leaders,' it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple – See you both at the Super Bowl!"
This comes a few weeks after Brittany liked one of his posts.
Trump's post comes a few weeks after Brittany took a lot of backlash for liking one of the presidential nominee's Instagram posts. The post, made on August 13, was an outline of his "2024 GOP platform."
The expecting mother reportedly removed her like and doesn't appear to follow Trump on Instagram, but many people had already taken note and even asked for Taylor Swift to drop her as a friend — as the two have become close over the years with the pop star dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Swifties hoped the pop star would cut her off.
"I hope taylor is never seen with brittany mahomes ever again," one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Hey taylorrrr umm i think it’s time to drop her, her friends, and that meathead boyfriend," another user wrote.
Brittany appeared to defend herself.
In her Instagram Stories, Brittany seemed to defend herself against the backlash. "I mean honestly, To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood," she wrote. "There's no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well."
She believes people can have differing views and still love each other.
A few days later, the NFL wife shared a post to her Instagram Stories that read, “Contrary to the tone of the world today … You can disagree with someone, and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind.” Brittany followed up by writing “Read that again!”
