Days after Brooklyn Beckham accused mom Victoria Beckham of “inappropriate” dancing during what was meant to be a romantic dance between him and his wife, Nicola Peltz, at their 2022 wedding, footage of the former Spice Girl doing a wild dance with his younger brother, Cruz, has resurfaced online. But even though the video shows that Victoria certainly knows how to get down on the dance floor, surprisingly, it doesn’t seem to be lending any credibility to Brooklyn’s statement — instead, it actually seems to be doing the opposite.
Cruz shared the video just weeks before Brooklyn made his big statement.
Shared on December 29, 20 year old Cruz and Victoria can be seen dancing to the classic Bob Seger hit “Old Time Rock and Roll.” They both appear to be busting their silliest moves, and though Cruz didn’t add any details about the moment in his caption, he did tag Tom Cruise, who famously dances to this song in the movie Risky Business.
Through the feud speculation involving Brooklyn and his parents, it seems like Cruz has remained close with both Victoria and David, and even shared on Instagram that his older brother had blocked him on social media when he blocked their parents.
Victoria was accused of ruining Brooklyn’s dance with Nicola at their wedding.
In Brooklyn’s scathing Instagram Stories posts that he shared on Monday, he declared that he has no interest in “reconciling” with his parents and accused her of “hijacking” his first dance with Nicola.
“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead,” he wrote, adding that she danced “very inappropriately” with him. Brooklyn said he “never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life” than he did in that moment.
Most of the comments are in Victoria’s defense, though.
While there are a few people commenting on the video to say that they believe it just proves Brooklyn’s point about the way his mom dances with her children, most commenters seem to be on Posh’s side.
“Honestly, just looks like they probably had a couple glasses of wine and are having a good night hanging as a family. Definitely doesn’t seem egregious,” one commenter wrote.
Another person added, “This just proves that she dances like that with all her sons, not just Brooklyn. The problem is not Victoria.”
So far, Victoria hasn’t responded to any of Brooklyn’s claims herself.
