The video is short, just 14 seconds long, and it includes a simple dance between Whitney and Conner, which ends with a kiss. Apparently, Whitney thought this would put a stop to the rumors and comments from her worst critics. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
In the Reddit thread, one person commented, “this is literally video evidence of a lavender marriage lmfao.” Another shared, “Nothing says straight man like zesty dancing.” Most of the other comments from people who are familiar with Whitney’s marriage and her ongoing drama shared a similar sentiment.
One commenter wrote that they aren’t “100% sure” what the post actually proves. Others actually applauded Whitney for leaning into the rumor and the humor in it all. Mostly, though, Reddit users were insistent about Whitney’s post having the opposite effect on those who believe she is in a lavender marriage with Conner.

She admits there are rumors about things not being great between herself and Connor, and she even says he went on a dating app and developed an addiction to pornography.
There were rumors Conner was spotted on the dating app Tinder. In the series premiere, he admits to making terrible decisions when it came to looking outside of his marriage, per People. But he never says anything about seeking out romantic partners who are men.
Whitney doesn’t mention any possibility that her husband is a gay man, and that remains a rumor among fans and critics of the show. Because it’s never a good idea to speculate on someone’s sexual orientation, there is no proof Conner is gay. Some still believe, however, that Whitney and Conner’s marriage has far more secrets than Whitney would care to admit.
