Even if you’ve only slightly and casually followed Jeffery Epstein‘s case for the last several years, there is no getting around the worst details. From Epstein’s private island having a telltale nickname known among many, to Epstein himself being indicted on sex trafficking charges involving young girls, there is no part of the car that isn’t disgusting and deplorable.
So when one TikTok user by the name of Emma shared a video to confirm the nickname for Epstein’s Island, it added another layer to the ick factor of everything about the story.
Emma shares in her TikTok that she lived on an island next to Epstein’s when she was younger.
In her twenties, Emma lived on St. Thomas, the island closest to Little St. James, which is the official map-titled name for Epstein’s private island.
And, according to Emma, the nickname given to his island that apparently did not raise any vibrantly bright red flags was known by many.

So, the nickname is real and apparently they just ran with it.
During the course of the case involving Epstein, which did not go to trial for him because he died by suicide in his jail cell in 2019, the detail about Little St. James’s nickname came out.
According to The New York Times, locals nicknamed the island Pedophile Island and it was commonly referred to as such.
This was obviously because of the amount of young girls, reportedly as young as 14 and possibly younger, who would be transported to the island as Epstein’s alleged assistants or masseuses.
Yes it’s all absolutely disgusting, and it’s unclear why Epstein’s Island would have such a widely known nickname with no one making the decision to actually investigate why he brought young girls to the private, secluded island.
“I lived on St. Thomas before everything blew up and it was a scandal, before Epstein got arrested. Actually, through Epstein getting arrested,” Emma says in her TikTok about Epstein’s island. “It was pretty crazy while I lived there. But anybody that you asked, they would know the rumors about the island. It was commonly called Pedophile Island. It was just very well known.”
The point of her video is to actually share some strange stories about plastic cows being present on the island and being moved around habitually.
According to Emma, the rumor was that the cows served as a cover to get farming tax breaks. But the idea of there being actual normal people in the facility of Epstein’s island, where young girls testified as adults to say they were taken and sexually abused, is just wild. And I’m not the only one sitting here with a shocked Pikachu meme face.
“Why did I assume Epstein’s island was somewhere hidden in the middle of the ocean, not, like, nearby another land mass?” One user commented on the TikTok.
Someone else said, “So everyone knew it and did nothing.” That about sums it up for me, to be honest.
Another user commented with a theory about the plastic cows that is almost as icky as what is reported to have actually happened on the island.
“Everyone knew,” they wrote. “Let that sink in. The cows probably signaled open for business. Disgusted.”
If that’s the case, the seemingly harmless plastic cows that Emma talks about in her TikTok have such a darker meaning.
