Zach Roloff Admits His Relationship With Dad Matt Roloff Hasn’t Healed: ‘It’s Narcissism’

The Little People, Big World cameras may have stopped rolling, but even without having a TV crew around, the drama is still going strong. During a new episode of the podcast he shares with wife Tori Roloff, Zach Roloff admitted that his relationship with dad Matt still isn't in a great place these days, even going so far as to say that he believes "narcissism" is at play here. Oh, boy …

Zach said that things are 'not great' between him and his dad.

During a new episode of his podcast, Raising Heights, Zach opened up about where his relationship with his dad stands today. They haven't gotten along in a while — and things really went downhill when Matt decided against selling him the family farm. So far, it sounds like the father and son haven't made any progress.

"People are still in denial [they] didn’t do anything wrong," Zach said of Matt.

Zach had hoped that giving it time would help repair the damage.

Even though he's still open to waiting even longer in the hopes that enough time truly will heal all wounds, he did say that he believes "it's a narcissism" situation with his dad.

"The dust settled, but nothing has been fixed," he said on his podcast. "It’s a bummer because I thought we were kind of evening it out a little bit."

That doesn't mean Matt can't see his grandkids, though.

Because there had been some speculation that Zach and Tori had been withholding their three children from their grandpa, Tori made sure to be clear that wasn't happening.

"That's all just internet drama," she said. "Adult relationships are very complicated, unfortunately, especially family."

Tori was quick to defend Zach after the podcast episode went live.

"For everyone saying we need to forgive; we did a long time ago … we hold no grudges here. However it caused us to create boundaries," she wrote in a since-expired post on her Instagram Stories, according to The Ashley's Reality Roundup.

"The crap about us keeping our kids from their grandparents needs to stop," she added.

For now, it seems Matt may be keeping quiet about the situation.

Whether or not Little People, Big World returns for another season, Tori and Zach have certainly made it clear they won't be a part of future episodes. Maybe having that space will eventually help heal the rift between them and Matt. Who knows what the future will hold?
