4. Make DIY Decorations
No one can truly get into the holiday spirit without some great holiday decorations, so this year, try making your very own DIY decor. You can go for the classics — like folding and cutting white paper to make snowflakes, or try something more unique — like building mini snowmen out of cotton balls!
5. Go on a Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt
Just because most of us are staying home for the holidays, it doesn’t mean we have to stay trapped inside our houses. A great way to get outside is to go on a scavenger hunt! Make a list of everything you want to try to see (like a reindeer lawn sculpture, multicolored Christmas lights, blow-up Santa Claus figures, and more), and then go for a walk or drive around to see what you can find.
