Muppets Haunted Mansion (Disney+)

The Addams Family (Hulu)

They're creepy and they're kooky, and they're all sorts of family-friendly fun for a Halloween movie night. The animated version has Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, and Lurch living in a macabre house on the hill, only to have an aggressive "interior decorator" try to get them to make their house like all the others in the town. In addition to just being spooky fun, there's also some feel-good messages about how it's OK to be different and what being a family really means.

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (Apple TV+)

This classic from the 1960s never goes out of style, thanks to the enduring charm of the Peanuts crew. And now we can finally find it on streaming!

Under Wraps (Disney+)

This is a remake of a movie that was already on the Disney Channel about three friends who accidentally bring an ancient mummy back to life and the adventures they have. It's sweet, hilarious, and fun for all ages. Spoiler alert: The mummy also has some epic dance moves.

Super Monsters Save Halloween (Netflix)

This 30-minute special is perfect for little Super Monsters fans who aren’t quite ready for a long movie and are perhaps getting a little scared of all the Halloween decorations in their neighborhood. The Super Monsters learn that all the creepy Halloween scares are actually mostly just pretend and go so far as to explain how they’re make-believe.

Lego Star Wars Terrifying Tales (Disney+)

For families with kids who are either big Lego fans, Star Wars fans, or both, this Lego Halloween special will be tons of spooky fun. Long story short, Poe Dameron and BB-8 somehow find themselves in Darth Vader's dark castle and learn scary stories from the past. It may be best suited for slightly older kids who aren't so easily scared.

Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest (Amazon Prime)

This is a perfect Halloween flick for toddlers/preschoolers who love Curious George. It's silly, not too scary, and not too long. All wins in our book!
