Wooden Sensory Tools
Sensory play is so important for young children. It helps with fine motor skills development, hand-eye coordination, and concentration. This set of wooden sensory tools is a great way to encourage sensory play at home and can be used for exploring different textures and materials. They are the perfect addition to any sensory bin activity. The particular set includes bowls of various sizes, scoops, and tongs that will level up any sand, water, or mud play!
Wooden Instruments
Another must-have play space item is musical instruments. Most instruments out there are made of plastic and have "extra" bells and whistles that are really not needed. We love these wooden instruments because they are real instruments and super high quality. The set includes a tambourine, castanet, hand drum, hand bells, maracas, flute, wooden block with a stick, wooden sounder with a stick, and a chime bar. Music is so important for development and this set is perfect for encouraging musical play at home.
Osmo
If you're ready to introduce your children to learning apps, this is one we highly recommend. While typically we shy away from screen time, feel good about Osmo because it actually allows for children to engage with the app in a hands-on way (rather than just pressing buttons). Osmo teaches children through interactive games that focus on storytelling, creativity, coding, math, reading, drawing, and more. It's a great way to supplement learning at home. On Prime Day, you can get the Osmo Kits for up to almost 50% off!
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Glowing Marble Run
This awesome marble run helps encourage imagination and problem-solving skills — two of the most important skills for kids! Your child will love figuring out ways to connect these different pieces to get the marbles to roll. This toy is perfect for any child who loves to build, but be aware it does include marbles, so it should only be used by children 4 and older.
Battat Miniature Wooden Cars
Vehicles are another staple that children just seem to love. These wooden cars from Battat are the perfect size for small hands and can be used with any other wooden blocks or tracks. They are also great for imaginative play — set up a little garage or car wash and let your child's imagination run wild! On Prime Day, you can get this set of six cars for 15% off.
SEREED Baby Balance Bike
This ride-on scooter is a must-have for younger kiddos who always want to be on the go. Having a ride-on toy promotes gross motor development and coordination and provides an opportunity for movement, which is a must for toddlers and preschoolers. This particular scooter has a nice low profile, so it's perfect for indoor or outdoor use, and the wheels are rubberized to protect your floors, so you don't have to stress.
