If you cringed after witnessing the viral 100 layers of foundation video, you're not alone.
Many viewers watched in horror as Swedish vlogger Josefin Lillakas, aka Jeely, caked on the pore-clogging liquid makeup.
But after receiving comment after comment from "concerned" viewers about her skin, the brazen YouTuber decided to come back and redeem herself.
The 100 layers of foundation challenge proved to be quite controversial within the beauty world.

Commenters didn't hesitate to condemn Jeely for putting her pores at risk.

"People have been complaining that I will get breakouts and pimples from all the foundation so I decided to do something to prevent that from happening," Jeely explained on her channel.

Her solution? 100 LAYERS OF A SLIMY BLACK FACE MASK.

The only way to counteract 100 layers of foundation is to apply 100 layers of face mask, right?
One layer in: "Maybe this was a bad descision."

"It has a really strong smell to it!"
But she kept going.

To harden the mask between layering, Jeely whipped out her trusty hair dryer.

But there was nothing she could do about an itchy nose.

"My nose is itching so bad but I can't scratch it!"
Still, she forged ahead.

50 layers...

"I can barely move my face."
70 layers...

100 LAYERS!

'It looks like my face has melted."

Gross? VERY. But we're *so* here for the peel porn.
