8 Quick Fixes for Your Tired Mom Eyes

I've been obsessed with my eyes lately. Too much winter, too much stress, and not enough sleep are all taking their toll, and now I have Tired Mom Eyes. You know what I'm talking about — puffy eyes. Eyes with dark circles under them. Eyes that look like they're slowly sliding down your face. Eyes that need a break. What to do — besides the obvious: Get more sleep and go on vacation. (BWA HA HA!) I asked around for some tips, and then I tried a few products myself to see what works. After exhaustive trials — as in, I'm always exhausted and my life is a trial — these are the fixes we recommend.

Cucumber Slices

Basically, anything chilled you put on your eyes is going to bring down puffiness. But cucumbers will add some moisture. Another great choice is soaked, chilled green tea bags.

SK-II Signs Eye Mask

"The SK-II Signs Eye Mask is expensive [$110], but I literally have never seen anything work like this. They depuff and get rid of dark circles in about 10 minutes. Perfect for a night out!" Nicole

Sephora Instant Depuffing Eye Mask

If the SK-II eye mask is too pricey for your pocket, there's Sephora's Instant Depuffing Eye Mask ($6.00). I tried it over the weekend and loved it. Cool and soothing, seems to have worked, and has the tiniest light, fresh scent.

La Roche-Posay Redermic [R] Eyes Anti-Aging Eye Cream

"I’ve been using La Roche-Posay Redermic Eyes ($46.96) morning and night for a while, and I don’t have problems with bags or puffiness, so I’m thinking it’s working? It has Retinol in it (Retin-A), which is probably why. It’s just so so good for your skin." Cynthia

Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener

"I cried when they got rid of the old formula of Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener ($30), but the new one is even better. It glides on, stays on, and really helps erase dark circles." Julie

Marc Jacobs Remedy Concealer Pen

Concealer is tricky — it's hard to get the right texture without ending up with those tell-tale pale under-eye swoops that scream I AM WEARING EYE CONCEALER. But I like the perfect consistency of Marc Jacobs Remedy Concealer Pen ($39). Apply with the nifty pen applicator and then gently pat into skin.

Drinking Water

Definitely not as much fun as swiping on gels, but it works every time for me. Next to sleep, nothing works on dark circles and puffy eyes like drinking plenty of water.
