Have you seen this shoe? I'm talking about Stuart Weitzman's "Nudist" sandal, seen on every celeb's well-manicured foot these days. They have a simple elegance (er, because they're barely there) and they'll go with almost everything in your closet. I love them! If only they did not cost $398 I would have one in every color. Or even just one pair.
But guess what — the Nudist is already being knocked off by everyone. And this is great news for us non-celebs who spend all our shoe money on sneakers for the kids. Here are 8 version of the It-sandal of the season you can actually afford.
Aldo 'Daeng'
Of course Aldo has a knock-off that looks almost exactly the same. This is their "Daeng" ($80), and it comes in silver as well as gold.
Steve Madden 'Stecy'
The Steve Madden "Stecy" ($79.95, Steve Madden) comes in black patent, gold foil, and nude. But my favorite is this floral.
Dune London 'Hydro'
Dune London's "Hydro" ($99, Zappos) comes in black and silver. Oh — and blue suede, anyone?
Cynthia Vincent 'Mika'
Cynthia Vincent's "Mika" ($275, Piper Lime) has a thicker heel, so you'll walk easier in this version. It's on the pricey side, though.
Menbur 'Milan'
The Menbur "Milan" satin sandal ($144.95, Nordstrom) is the wedding-ready version of this sandal. With that bow it's not as minimal, but it still looks chic.
Nine West 'Izzy'
I'm sorry to say, but as of now the Nine West "Izzy" ($79) is sold out! You can see why, at that price. Hopefully they'll make more before summer starts.
Kenneth Cole 'Grove' Ankle Wrap
This Kenneth Cole "Grove" Ankle-Wrap Heel ($180) has a little more going on, but I love it. Comes in black, too.
Carlos by Carlos Santana 'Ignition'
How about a zebra stripe? The Carlos by Carlos Santana "Ignition" sandal (on sale for $79.99, Macy's) is fun — and who knew Carlos Santana was designing women's shoes?!? It comes in black if this is a little too fun for your taste.
