Roll Out the Green Carpet
Stop by your home improvement center and pick up as many feet of indoor/outdoor carpeting as you like to roll out the "green" carpet for your guests. A little white paint goes a long way as you can mark off the yards to your front door. Aurora, of Dawn to Dusk Designs, suggests using a level to keep your lines even. Adding a banner or field goal to your door is an extra touch that's sure to get fans excited for your party!
Astro Turf Table Covering
A little indoor/outdoor carpeting and some white electrical tape transform your average table into a festive buffet-ready football field. You can keep it as casual or as fancy as you like thanks to inspiration from blogger Michelle Paige, who had lots of help from her handy son.
Pigskin Placemats
Faux leather fabric in pigskin chocolate and a little white duct tape are all you need to make these adorable football-shaped placemats, designed by Chic and Jo. These look amazing when paired with the table covering in slide 3.
Football Utensil Holder
Guests will have no trouble locating the cutlery when it's placed inside these adorable football holders. Michelle DuPuis, blogger and founder of Rust & Sunshine, explained how she crafted these clever caddies.
"I made a couple silverware caddies by painting two tomato cans with acrylic paint. I painted right over the paper label which looked a bit like leather once it was dry," she explains.
We're grateful she forked over (get it?) this fun idea!
Yard Line Pennant
String a colorful pennant banner behind your buffet table to add a little extra flare to your party. This idea, from ChicandJo.com, is a fun project to do with the kids. Cut some white masking tape into lines and numbers and have the little ones place them on your grass carpet triangles. Line them up along some white duct tape and you'll have a festive and reusable banner in no time!

Football Cupcakes
You'll want to have a sweet treat ready to console fans whose team may have lost, and these adorable football cupcakes, created by Alissa of FunFindsforFamilies.com, will do the trick. These will definitely take the sting out of defeat.
