It's almost inevitable, though. Between Amazon Prime days offering deals on items that could be used in the fall (despite it being summer) and other companies like Target trying to keep up, it's OK for parents to plan ahead. Many even want to, eager to send their kids back into the care of teachers (Sorry!!). Schools seem to be ready now, too. Many have released their school supply lists early so when there is a deal, why not go for it? Last year's back-to-school deals were plentiful. Target, Old Navy, Walmart, Staples, and others all had great sales. And the good news? They're at it again this year.
As many parents know, what seems like a cheap school shopping item, like crayons for under $5, all those little things add up. So if given the choice between five items for $5 or five items for $2 each, every dollar matters. This back-to-school season, Staples is already stocked with all kinds of writing tools, pens, papers, coloring tools and more for as low as 50 cents. Stores like Target and Old Navy also have deals on clothing and shoes. Adidas decided to break out the big guns this year, offering up to half off sneakers or backpacks.
