Amandla Stenberg Walked A Red Carpet With Hairy Armpits On Full Display

Female empowerment comes in many forms. For some women, it's letting their hair grow freely — on all parts of the body. Generation Z in particular has been quite the advocate for hairy armpits, and when bona fide queen Amandla Stenberg debuted her hairy pits at the red-carpet premiere of "The Hate U Give," fans lost it.

What a time to be alive when an unshaved underarm pairs perfectly with Valentino couture. We stan.

Amandla Stenberg is the definition of unapologetic.

Ever since her controversial casting in "The Hunger Games," a selection that brought out racist trolls everywhere, she's been an avid leader in the fight for both racial and gender equality.

On top of being an amazing actress, starring in movies such as "The Darkest Minds" and "The Hate U Give," Stenberg has also established herself as a political and social activist.

The 20-year-old, who identifies as gender nonbinary and uses the pronouns they, them, she, and her, has also been a huge supporter of LGBTQ+ awareness.

So at the red-carpet premiere of her newest film, it was only right that her look was as fierce and unique as she is.

Donning a stunning floor-length Valentino gown with a plunging neckline, Stenberg was all about the glamour.

A braid fanatic, she perfectly paired her gown with a bob of box braids.

And her large, beautiful eyes were accentuated with a deep metallic-blue wing.

The real star of the show, however, was not Stenberg's perfectly perched collarbone or ornate baby hair. It was her armpits.

Stenberg ditched the razor for "The Hate U Give" premiere and gracefully revealed her hairy pits to the masses.

In the name of body positivity and female empowerment, Stenberg posed both hands on her hips all night long to ensure her unshaven underarms were on full display.

Stenberg captioned her Instagram photo for the night: "#drama #armpit".

Ugh … we live.

And because there is nothing wrong or unladylike about the natural function of hair growth, no Amandla slander will be tolerated.

Don't even try it.

Support Stenberg by visiting your local theater to see "The Hate U Give." We promise you won't regret it.

But definitely bring some tissues!
