Another day, another exciting Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) release that will help us get our spring and summer looks popping very early on in the game! The OG beauty brand has been spreading out rollouts from a major spring collection, and finally President Norvina has unveiled the whole she-bang.
My coins and my bathroom counter are ready to receive every blessing that Anastasia Beverly Hills seeks to bestow upon me. From the packaging to some of the actual products, Norvina is clearly inviting us all to a huge glitter party for the spring.
How could we not RSVP?!
First, Anastasia Beverly Hills announced these drool-worthy Dipbrow Gels.
Everyone knows that Anastasia Beverly Hills is the GOAT of brow snatching! The company is known for transforming the entire beauty industry in 1990 with an innovative "brow-shaping" service called the Golden Ration method.
Since then, Anastasia Beverly Hills has blessed us (and likely our mothers) with as many brow products as we can handle. Ask most YouTube beauty influencers what they use to achieve their flawless arches, and most of the time it's the Dipbrow Pomade ($18, Sephora) or the Brow Whiz pencil ($21, Sephora).
It's been three long years since the brand released fresh eyebrow heat into the world, and now, finally, we'll have Dipbrow Gel — a hybrid of the Dipbrow Pomade and the Tinted Brow Gel ($22, Sephora).
A few days ago, brand president Norvina also unveiled the Riviera eye shadow palette, which will be its most colorful one to date!
The palette is meant to make us feel like we're on a luxurious getaway wearing the most bougie swimsuit we can find and sipping the fanciest, schmanciest drink available. With seven mattes and seven glitters, the palette is all about colors that are bold or bright or both.
"I absolutely love her so much. RIVIERA is a getaway in a palette," Norvina shared on her Instagram page. "I want you to open it up and feel the breeze. OK, that sounds cheesy, but you get what I mean."
That's it. That's the plan. Consider the Riviera palette your excuse to be extra AF all spring and summer long. The price for this palette has not yet been listed, but it will likely be $42 or $45, based on previous palette prices.
In case you need a reminder of what Riviera can deliver, check out this beautiful look.
These pigments clearly deliver. Also, don't forget that Norvina already tipped us off about the Riviera shadows pairing beautifully with the glitter pigments she released for Valentine's Day. The color and glitter combinations are so endless! We're sparkling for the rest of 2019.
We already knew that Riviera palette and the DipBrow Gels were coming to the party on March 4, but now Norvina has revealed that they'll be adding more friends to the guest list. Enter the Anastasia Beverly Hills Loose Highlighters!
Le sigh. No matter how old I get, I LOVE surprise beauty releases. Look at this packaging! Norvina describes it as "sparkle mania," and I have to agree.
I'm ecstatic that Anastasia Beverly Hills is putting stepping into the loose highlighter game. I'm very interested in giving one of these sparkly pots a spot beside my Jackie Aina x Artist Couture highlighters ($20, Artist Couture).
The Anastasia Beverly Hills loose highlighters come in three beautiful colors. Look at those swatches!
From top to bottom, the pigments are Sunset Aura (rose gold), Snowflake (white), and So Hollywood (gold). The highlighters will be available for $25 each.
"They are like liquid metal powder fused together into one highlighter," Norvina shared about the formula.
The white shade looks super creamy! All three highlighters look exceptionally pigmented, and Anastasia Beverly Hills clearly took the time to make sure these shades would look great on a variety of skin tones.
Norvina was also very thoughtful about the practicality of the packaging, specifically the powder sifter.
Loose highlighter powders are fun and quite beautiful, but are typically VERY pigmented and can easily overpower your face. Like setting powder, it also tends to fall heavily from a sifter, and it can be difficult to get the right amount out without making a mess.
Norvina specifically had her sifters created so just the right amount of product comes out every time. The screenshot from her stories shows the exact amount you'll get out after just one shake.
“You don’t want to have too little because that can be extremely frustrating. You’ll have to keep tapping it," Norvina explained in her Instagram Story. "But you also don’t want a mountain of product just dumping all over the place."
Exactly, Norvina. Yes to ATTENTIVE beauty brands that know how to get the details right because they use it themselves and want to provide the best experience possible.
The brand is also making sure we can achieve the most flawless dewy faces ever with the new Dewy Set Setting Spray.
Step aside, matte finishes! Spring calls for a fresh, dewy beat, and Anastasia Beverly Hills is serving it to the people in a glittery gold spray bottle.
The final product in the spring collection is the Dewy Set Setting spray, which is NOT filled with glitter despite the shimmery packaging. This clear setting spray is meant to give your makeup that youthful, hydrated finish and will be available for $26.
With a non-irritating, noncomedogenic, and dermatologist-tested formula, this is a setting spray that will work with a variety of skin types. If you have sensitive skin (particularly due to fragrance allergies, eczema, or psoriasis), then you'll still want to patch-test this spray just to be on the safe side.
And once again, the Anastasia Beverly Hills product packaging reigns supreme.
No cap! "Dewy Set. No cap needed. Just twist it left to open and right to close," Norvina explained on Twitter.
On behalf of every beauty fan who would lose their head if it weren't attached to their shoulders, I must say this design decision is extremely helpful. I lose the caps to everything including my toothpaste, my scalp oil, and even my foam cleansers.
That's why I try to buy beauty products with pumps when they're available. I'm VERY appreciative of brands such as MAC Cosmetics and Anastasia Beverly Hills that love me enough to walk me through my flaws. Thank you sincerely for the support.
If you're a beauty fan who never plans to grow up like me, then you'll also be giddy over this PR package that's actually available to the public for a VERY gorgeous price.
"The whole RIVIERA PR $70 should you want it. Limited QTY’s," Norvina shared on Twitter. The Riviera PR package includes the palette in a beautiful press box, a tote bag decorated with the same nautical stripes as the palette packaging, and a navy water bottle.
We could tell Norvina to stop gunning for our beauty coins this hard, but why should we when her releases look this freaking cool? The woman could nail a product rollout with her eyes closed. Take that, leakers!
So that's a wrap for the spring Anastasia Beverly Hills collection, but get excited because Norvina has already hinted at an expansion of this loose highlighter collection in the future.
You've seen all of the spring collection releases, so don't expect anymore Instagram surprises. Norvina has to rest now. However, she did mention plans to expand the collection of loose highlighters in the future. Maybe she'll release something really special for the summer or fall!
I love a queen that keeps us guessing and then delivers with some quality product.
