I've always been a big fan of jewelry, but until last year I never had any custom jewelry (unless you count the charm bracelet I made as a kid). The Inspiration
Tina Cheng, the founder of Capsul Jewelry, was inspired by her young daughter's handwriting and wanted to share the world of custom jewelry with other moms. My Experience
As soon as I started browsing Capsul's website, I fell in love with the envelope locket necklace. I've been sending a lot of letters since the pandemic began — including hundreds of letters to swing state voters encouraging them to go vote — so I knew the envelope was perfect for me. To commemorate this wild year, I decided to get "vote" engraved onto the inner portion of the necklace. After requesting the necklace (which I received in PR), I was told it would take five to six weeks to arrive.
My Necklace
I was pleasantly surprised when my necklace arrived in the mail a week ahead of schedule (the day before I went to go vote early) and I couldn't wait to open it.
